Longing for Home
July 31, 2019Have you ever been on a trip, in a hospital or just visiting but you are longing for home? There is an old saying “Home is where the heart is”. How true. We can be in any place and still feel at home if we are surrounded by people we love. As Christians we should be long for HOME. Our heavenly home where we shall see Jesus and be reunited with family and friends who have gone one before us. However, while we are still traveling this earth we do have our loved One Jesus, who is with us 24/7 no matter where we are. So, today, wherever you are you can feel at home with your Comforter and Friend Jesus but looking forward to the day when we will reach our Heavenly home.
First Event
July 30, 2019
Kaylen and Keira witnessed at their first SOS Events event on Saturday. They both are interns this summer at the home office in Dover, Florida. They both did a wonderful job at the display board and were successful in presenting the “3 Things God Can Not Do.” It is a great blessing to have part in training these young girls to not only do office work but more importantly, teaching them to witness for the Lord. They will soon be back in school and will not work with the ministry until vacations or next summer. They will be missed.
1 Timothy 4:12 Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
YMCA Backpack Event, 26 Salvations
July 29, 2019
Saturday, some of the Florida SOS Events Team went to Riverview to the YMCA Camp Christina campus where several hundred back to school backpacks were distributed to children that are going back to school in just a few weeks. This event is a great opportunity to win people to the Lord as parents come with the children and whole families get to hear the gospel. 26 people received Jesus as their Savior. In the photo, top, Mark witnessing to a young boy, bottom left, Mark, Kaylen, Keira and Justin, right Diana with a grandmother and granddaughter who made a decision to follow Christ. The team members not pictured were Tony and Carolyn.

Countries Reached by SOS Events Blog
July 27, 2019
Yesterday, people from these countries were reached with the gospel through this blog. When SOS Events Ministry was founded the goal was the USA, but God is doing more than we could think or ask. He wants to reach the world. Everyday various countries are listed in the stats. Please pray with us that many people from all over the world will be saved through SOS Events Ministry.

Mark 16:6 And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.
Prayer Requests
July 25, 2019Two big events today, for SOS Events. Railroad Days Festival in Appomattox, VA and Harvest Hayride in Hamilton Square, NJ. Please pray for many souls to be saved. The weather is not expected to be good in both places as rain is forecast but God is in control.
We also ask for prayer for the east coast of the USA as hurricane Matthew is still pounding the coast. So many without electricity and now face flooding. Our prayers are for the safety of friends and family in this devistating storm.
Colossians 4:2 Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;
