More Fall Festival Salvations

November 5, 2019

The first Saturday in November was very busy in Florida for SOS Events Ministry. Three events on the same day in close proximity. In the morning Antioch Days, 26 Salvations, at the same time an event in Zephyhills with 6 Salvations reported. Then in the evening in Plant City at Bethany Baptist Church 20 decisions to follow Jesus. What a wonderful day for SOS Events volunteers. Over 50 people of all ages came to know Jesus.

Psalm 3:8 Salvation belongeth unto the Lord: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah.

Antioch Days

November 4, 2019

SOS Events has been participating in Antioch Days since it began as a little churchyard annual event about 13 years ago. It is always held on the first Saturday in November and has become a huge event. There are many things for families to do, train ride, fishing, food, games, venders and a parade. Saturday, there were 26 Salvations at the SOS Events booth. Praise the Lord for opportunities like this to witness where people come to have fun.

Luke 14:23 And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.

Praise the Lord!

November 3, 2019

All volunteers with SOS EVENTS Ministry praise the LORD for His goodness. Close to 100 people trusted JESUS as their Savior in various events this past week in Florida and many more in other places also. It is an honor and privilege to Serve Our Savior and witness to others how they can be saved. All praise and honor are the LORD’s.

SOS Events Ministry Presentation

October 12, 2019

The song lyrics ” Holy Spirit you are welcome here” was being done at Delta Baptist Church. SOS Events Ministry was welcomed with open arms and hearts. We would like to thank Pastor Clay Lovelady for the opportunity to share the Gospel using the “3 Things God Cannot Do” board with a large part of Delta Baptist Church recently. We pray for this church as they go forward and also pray something they saw during the presentation will make them want to be a part of SOS Events Ministry.

Philippians 4:9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

Dover Rod Run

October 7, 2019

Dover Rod Run is a totally free Car Show hosted by Dover First Baptist Church three times a year. Over 100 antique cars, free food, music and a pinewood derby race took place on Saturday and SOS Events had a booth there. 8 Salvations were recorded, all adults, age 50 or above. One example of how God answers prayer is when three men from the Latino Car Club saw the “3 Things God Can Not Do” board and came over to find out what the 3 things were. They did not know for sure they were going to Heaven and sat down at the “ABC” table. All three were saved and rejoicing as they left the booth.

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

(If you do not know the “3 Things God Can Not Do” or the “ABC’s” go to the home page, all the answers are there.)

Alabama Team is growing.

October 4, 2019

Tuesday evening at Good News Baptist Church training for SOS Events Ministry volunteers. We are blessed to have 6 new volunteers trained and ready to get involved in their first of many events. We have a prayer that has been answered by more labourers for this busy growing ministry and a special prayer answered for a Spanish speaking volunteer. Mrs. Victoria speaks 6 languages and is going to bless many by being able to help with language barriers we’ve faced in the past. God Bless each one of them for stepping out in Faith and Serving Our Savior. A special thank you to Mrs. Nan Barnes for leading this training and Good News Baptist Church for hosting.

Colossians 3:24 Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.

Alabama Blessings

September 26, 2019

SOS Events Ministry tent had a great time in Wadley, Alabama Saturday at the 200th Bicentennial Celebration. 183 people came in front of the 3 Things God Cannot Do board and over 200 tracts were handed out. We were blessed greatly with 2 people surrendering their lives to Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and 3 people were reassured they are 100 % sure they are going to Heaven. We had several teens that were not ready to make that decision and we will continue to pray for them. Please continue to pray for SOS Events as we head into the busiest time of the year. October thru December events in our area and all over our state and more will be taking place. We thank you for your prayers and encouragement and it’s always a blessing to be Serving Our Savior!!

Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

Good Results

A good report from Steve Slater, SOS Events Team Leader in Pennsylvania, last Saturday. Six decisions to follow the Lord were reported at an event in Royersford. This growing Team has an event scheduled for this coming Saturday and would appreciate your prayers for the workers and people who come to see the SOS Events display board. Pray many souls will be saved.

Matthew 9:38 Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.

Alabama Leaders Mid-year Meeting

August 26, 2019

Awesome day last Saturday at SOS Events Ministry mid year meeting at St. Clair County Cowboy Church. Brother Dwayne Banks hosted the meeting and a great time was had by all. A wonderful meal and fellowship was enjoyed and we all came together with ideas to make event planning and getting through each of our large lists of events smoothly. Thank you to each one who came out and helped make this day great!!

1 Corinthians 3:9 For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building.

SOS Events Ministry Interns

August 9, 2019

It is time for Mackenzie, Kaylen and Keira to go back to school. They have been a great blessing to SOS Events this summer as they worked at whatever task was given to them. Office tasks, cleaning and yard work were some of the things they did and always with a smile and no complaints. Each girl has also learned to witness for the Lord and that is probably the most important thing that they will glean from their time spent with SOS Events Ministry. They will be missed and we are looking forward to next vacation time for them to come back and work again. May God richly bless all 3 of the girls as they now go back to school. Thank you all for a job well done.

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
