As Christians we need to have compassion for one another. To our fellow Christians and also to the unsaved.
We will never win the lost by being unkind, rude or unforgiving to them or to our brothers and sisters in Christ.
Others are watching our actions, our speech and even our tone of voice. Courtesy and love to our spouses, children and others is the key to the peace and joy in our homes, workplace and family gatherings.
The unsaved that are watching will then want what we have and we can share the love of Jesus and His forgiveness.
Mission Conference at Fellowship Baptist Church starts TODAY!
It is a blessing to see churches that support missionaries at home and to many countries of the world.
Most people cannot go away from their home base but everyone can support missions by going to conferences, praying and giving.
God’s Word tells us to go into all the world to tell people about Jesus.
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Mark 16:15
There is something special about old hymns. This one written by Fanny Crosby in 1880, tells the whole story of Jesus life. It is scripturally sound. Read the words, listen to the song and worship Jesus in your heart. You will be blessed.
Are you missing a loved one that has gone on to be with the Lord? Maybe it’s a spouse, a parent, a child or a good friend. Your heart is hurting.
I have good news that will bring comfort. You will see that loved one again if you have put your faith in Jesus as they did.
We can be 100% sure we will go to Heaven if we have accepted Jesus into our hearts. He has gone to prepare a place for us as He promised.
Today, give your heartaches to Jesus and He will comfort you.
One of SOS Events Leaders, Wes, had to be in the hospital last week with back surgery.
Not wanting to waste an opportunity to witness, his wife, Beth made sure they had the “3 Things God Can Not Do” tracts with them to hand out to the hospital staff.
One of the girls who brought Wes his lunch was given a tract. Later that day, Wes was released to go home. Beth decided to take some things to the car but got confused and didn’t know which door to the parking garage.
As she was looking for the right door, it opened and there was Kathryn, the girl that brought Wes his lunch.
Kathryn told Beth that the tract was just what she needed. Then Beth took time to lead Kathryn to the Lord.
What a wonderful blessing to turn a hospital stay into an opportunity to tell someone about Jesus.
1 Peter 3:15 – But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
The Bible tells us to pray for one another. Today we ask for special prayer for all SOS Events volunteers wherever they may be.
Our enemy will try to discourage workers with all kinds of problems, distractions and devices. Sometimes it’s illness, family or even good activities that will keep us from going to events to win people to the LORD.
Our volunteers need your prayers. Also, please pray for new volunteers. Spring will soon be here and there will be new opportunities for more events, but without volunteers to go and tell those events will go by with no witnesses.
The harvest is ready but the laborers are few.
SOS Events Ministry teaches others how to witness at events and how to tell people about Jesus face-to-face.
This is the time of year when there are multiple trainings. We need your prayers. Please pray for many new people to come to the training and that they will then go out to tell others how they can be 100% sure they are on their way to Heaven.
Today is a day when Americans honor their Presidents, especially the Presidents who have helped make the USA a great country.
However, we must remember that it is God who allows every leader the power to become the President in America or a King or Queen in any country.
“Don’t put your Pastor on a pedestal where he can get knocked off, put him on your prayer list where he can be lifted up.”
As you go to church pray for your pastor. He needs the power of the Holy Spirit and encouragement.
D. L. Moody became a powerful evangelist because as he preached he had a group of people praying for him and thousands of people were saved though his ministry.
2 Thessalonians 1:11 Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:
