Trusting Through Joy And Sorrow

May 21, 2026

Proverbs 3:5-6 are my life verses and a steady anchor through both joy and sorrow. “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

There have been seasons in life when the path was clear and full of blessings, and other times when the road felt uncertain and heavy. Yet through every mountain and valley, God has faithfully led me. When I did not understand why certain things happened, I learned to trust Him anyway. When joy filled my heart, I thanked Him. When sorrow came, I leaned on Him.

Looking back, I can truly say God has directed my path and given me a wonderful life through it all. Not because every day was easy, but because His presence, grace, and guidance never failed me. These verses remind me that when we place our trust fully in the Lord, He lovingly leads us exactly where we need to go.

What a comfort to know that when we surrender our plans to Him, He is always faithful to guide our steps.

The Joy Of Witnessing!

April 30, 2026

Once again God is blessing the weekly Plant City, Florida Flea Market with manybpeople trusting Jesus as their Savior at the SOS Events booth.

Thank you faithful volunteers!

What a joy to be the person who witnesses to someone and that person decides to accept the Lord and leaves knowing they will spend eternity with Jesus.

If you are shy about witnessing, SOS Events has the answer. The “3 Things God Can Not Do” is an effective, non confrontational way to present the Gospel.

Let us help you have the joy of leading someone to the Lord

Singing Is Worship!

April 19, 2026

Sunday is a special invitation.

It’s not just another day on the calendar—it’s a call to come into the presence of God with joy in our hearts and praise on our lips. The Psalmist doesn’t say to come quietly, reluctantly, or out of obligation. Instead, we are told to come with gladness… and even more, to come singing.

Singing is a reflection of the heart. When we truly recognize who God is—our Savior, our Provider, our Faithful Friend—there is something within us that wants to respond. Even if our voice isn’t perfect, our praise can be.

Today, whether you are in a church service, at home, or quietly reflecting, take a moment to lift your heart in worship. Thank Him for His goodness, His mercy, and His presence in your life.

You don’t need a perfect setting—just a willing heart.

Come before Him today… and don’t forget to sing. 🎶

A New Year, A Clean Heart

January 2, 2026

The second day of the new year. Let us start 2026 with a clean heart.

Christians take time to pray for forgiveness for the unconfessed sins that we have committed.

If you have never accepted Jesus as your Savior there is no better way to start a new year than becoming a new person in Christ.

Happy New Year. May 2026 bring you and your loved ones peace and joy that only the Lord can give.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new

Joy! True Joy Is Found When We Love God!

September 2, 2025

God wants us to nave joy and be joyful.

Can we have joy even in difficult situations? Yes. True joy comes from having Jesus as our Savior and knowing that He has a plan for us even in times of crisis and uncertainty.

He is worthy to be praised. True joy is on the inside not in outward situations.

Rejoice in the Lord

June 18, 2025

Can you have joy in any situation? Even death of a loved one, illness, loss of possessions or any other tragedy in your life?

Only if you have a personal relationship with Jesus. He is the only one who can give you peace and comfort and even joy in any situation.

So whatever you are facing today, look to Jesus foe the joy you need.

Great Bible Verse For You Today!

June 14, 2025

If you have something to celebrate today, do it.

If you have sorrow or cares, cast your care upon Jesus and remember Jesus is the source of our Joy.

The little chorus “The Joy Of The Lord Is My Strength” is a great song to sing. It will give you joy and make you smile just to sing it.

The Only Way To A Joyous Future Is Jesus!

May 30, 2025
Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: 1 Peter 1:8

This was on Facebook this morning. Humerus but sadly true. With all the problems that individuals face, there seems to be no joy.

Jesus brings joy. And those of us who know Him have a joyous future. Maybe hard times on earth but the promise of joy in Heaven.

Everyday Rejoice!

May 4, 2025

We can rejoice everyday because the LORD made the day. There are days that we may not feel like rejoicing.

But this Psalm tells us of all the things God has promised to His children. Even in tough times we can rejoice because God is with us.

So today, if you are having a great day, rejoice. If your day is full of trouble or sorrow you still can still rejoice in the LORD because of what He has done for you.
