Trust God For The Increase

May 8, 2026

There are many days in ministry when we wonder if what we are doing is really making a difference. A kind word at an event, setting up a booth, praying with someone, or simply showing up faithfully may seem small in the moment. But 1 Corinthians 3:7 reminds us of something very important:

“So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.” — First Corinthians 3:7 KJV

God never asks us to produce the results — He asks us to be faithful. Some volunteers plant seeds, others water seeds already planted, but only God can touch a heart and bring true spiritual growth.

To every SOS Events volunteer and leader: never underestimate what God can do through your faithfulness. A smile, a conversation, a prayer, or a Gospel tract may be the very thing God uses to change someone’s eternity. Even when you cannot see the results, God is still working behind the scenes.

Keep serving. Keep praying. Keep planting seeds.

God gives the increase.

Brighten Someone’s Corner Today!

May 7, 2026

There is a little song “Brighten the Corner Where You Are”.

“Do not wait until some deed of greatness you may do,
Do not wait to shed your light afar,
To the many duties ever near you now be true,
Brighten the corner where you are.

Brighten the corner where you are!
Brighten the corner where you are!
Someone far from harbor you may guide across the bar;
Brighten the corner where you are!”

Today why don’t you encourage someone with a phone call, text message, note or a simple smile may make someone’s day brighter. Maybe a single Mom, a lonely person, a friend who struggling with a problem or a stranger who needs a friendly greeting. You will be the one who gets a blessing along with the person you are encouraging

Have A Blessed Sunday!

May 3, 2026

Sunday morning is a gentle reminder from the Lord to quiet our hearts and turn our eyes toward Him. Before the week begins and the noise of life rushes in, God gives us this moment to rest in His presence, to worship, and to remember His faithfulness.

No matter what this past week held, today is a fresh gift. His mercies are new this morning. His grace is enough for today. And His presence is the strength we need for whatever lies ahead.

Take a moment today to thank Him, trust Him, and rest in the peace only He can give.

“This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.”
— Psalm 118:24 KJV

The Joy Of Witnessing!

April 30, 2026

Once again God is blessing the weekly Plant City, Florida Flea Market with manybpeople trusting Jesus as their Savior at the SOS Events booth.

Thank you faithful volunteers!

What a joy to be the person who witnesses to someone and that person decides to accept the Lord and leaves knowing they will spend eternity with Jesus.

If you are shy about witnessing, SOS Events has the answer. The “3 Things God Can Not Do” is an effective, non confrontational way to present the Gospel.

Let us help you have the joy of leading someone to the Lord

Sunday, A New Day. A New Week.

April 26, 2026

Sundays have a way of slowing us down and reminding us where our strength truly comes from. Before the week begins again, the Lord gives us this day to rest, reflect, and remember that we do not walk alone.

No matter what last week held—joys, burdens, victories, or disappointments—God is still faithful. His mercy is still new. His promises are still true. And His strength is still enough.

Today is a gift. A day to lift your eyes, quiet your heart, and worship the One who has carried you every step of the way. Let this Sunday be a gentle reminder that God is not only with you today—He is already waiting in every tomorrow.

Walk into this new week with peace in your heart and praise on your lips. The same God who kept you yesterday will lead you tomorrow.

Salvation Is Just The Beginning!

April 25, 2026

“While we are saved in an instant, it takes a lifetime to develop and work out what God is doing inside of us.”

Salvation is one of the greatest miracles we will ever experience. In a single moment, when we trust Christ, everything changes—our sins are forgiven, our eternity is secured, and we become children of God.

But that moment is just the beginning.

From that day forward, God begins a work inside of us. Sometimes it is gentle, like a seed quietly growing beneath the soil. Other times it is shaping and stretching, like a potter forming clay. There are seasons of joy and seasons of challenge, but all of it is part of His perfect plan.

We may not always understand what He is doing, but we can trust that He is working—patiently, faithfully, and lovingly—day by day.

So don’t be discouraged if you’re still growing. That’s exactly where God wants you to be.

Singing Is Worship!

April 19, 2026

Sunday is a special invitation.

It’s not just another day on the calendar—it’s a call to come into the presence of God with joy in our hearts and praise on our lips. The Psalmist doesn’t say to come quietly, reluctantly, or out of obligation. Instead, we are told to come with gladness… and even more, to come singing.

Singing is a reflection of the heart. When we truly recognize who God is—our Savior, our Provider, our Faithful Friend—there is something within us that wants to respond. Even if our voice isn’t perfect, our praise can be.

Today, whether you are in a church service, at home, or quietly reflecting, take a moment to lift your heart in worship. Thank Him for His goodness, His mercy, and His presence in your life.

You don’t need a perfect setting—just a willing heart.

Come before Him today… and don’t forget to sing. 🎶

It’s Friday!

April 17, 2026

As Friday arrives, many of us look ahead to the weekend with anticipation—time to rest, gather with loved ones, and prepare our hearts for Sunday. But before we rush ahead, Friday gives us a quiet moment to pause and reflect.

What has this week held? Blessings, challenges, opportunities to serve, and moments when the Lord carried us through. Friday is not just the end of the week—it’s a reminder to finish well. To thank God for His faithfulness and to place anything unfinished into His hands.

The same God who walked with us Monday through Thursday will be with us through the weekend ahead. We can step forward with peace, knowing He is guiding every step.

Let this Friday be a time of gratitude and trust—resting not just in the weekend, but in Him.

Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established. Proverbs 16:3

A True Friend

April 16, 2026

If you have a true friend you are blessed. If you have several good friends you are extremely blessed.

God gives us friends in our lives to come along by our side to uplift us in times of trouble or sorrow. They rejoice with us when we have joy. They are loyal. Thank God for the friends in your life.

There is a Friend that is even better than the one we have here on earth, His name is Jesus!

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. 14Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. 15Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. John 15:13-15

Sunday A Day To Rest!

April 12, 2026

Sunday is often full—church services, conversations, meals, and responsibilities. But beyond all of that, God invites us into something deeper: rest for the soul.

This kind of rest isn’t just sitting still—it’s remembering.

Remembering how good God has been.

Remembering His faithfulness through the week.

Remembering that we are held in His care.

The psalmist didn’t say, “Find rest somewhere new.”

He said, “Return unto thy rest.”

That means your soul already knows where peace is found—in the Lord!

Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.” Psalm 116:7 (KJV)
