Trust God For The Increase

May 8, 2026

There are many days in ministry when we wonder if what we are doing is really making a difference. A kind word at an event, setting up a booth, praying with someone, or simply showing up faithfully may seem small in the moment. But 1 Corinthians 3:7 reminds us of something very important:

“So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.” — First Corinthians 3:7 KJV

God never asks us to produce the results — He asks us to be faithful. Some volunteers plant seeds, others water seeds already planted, but only God can touch a heart and bring true spiritual growth.

To every SOS Events volunteer and leader: never underestimate what God can do through your faithfulness. A smile, a conversation, a prayer, or a Gospel tract may be the very thing God uses to change someone’s eternity. Even when you cannot see the results, God is still working behind the scenes.

Keep serving. Keep praying. Keep planting seeds.

God gives the increase.

Will You Be A Worker In God’s Field?

May 4, 2026

There is a great need in ministry today—not just for workers, but for willing hearts. The fields are still white unto harvest, and the need for faithful volunteers and godly leaders has never been greater. SOS Events continues to go where people are, meeting them in everyday places with the hope of the Gospel. But this work takes people who are willing to pray, willing to serve, and willing to say “yes” when God calls.

Jesus reminds us in Matthew 9:37 & 38 to be people of simple obedience and honest commitment. When God stirs our hearts to serve, He is not looking for excuses or hesitation. He is looking for a willing “yes.” A yes to pray. A yes to lead. A yes to stand in the gap and help carry the Gospel to those who need it most.

Today, pray for SOS Events. Pray for more volunteers with compassionate hearts. Pray for leaders who will rise up with wisdom, courage, and a burden for souls. Pray for laborers who will answer the call with a simple and faithful “yes, Lord.”

The need is great, but our God is greater. May He stir hearts, raise up servants, and send forth laborers into His harvest.

Bluff Springs, Alabama

May 1, 2026

We are thankful to share a blessing from our Alabama SOS Team! Carl Norton recently set up SOS Events at Bluff Springs Baptist Church in Ashford, Alabama—the very church he grew up attending. What a joy to see God open the door for ministry in such a personal and meaningful place.

During the event, there was one salvation and one other spiritual decision.

One young girl trusted Christ as her Savior, and Carl was able to speak with her and go through the plan of salvation. Because she is only seven years old, he wisely encouraged her mother—who is already a believer—to continue talking with her and helping her grow in her understanding of what it means to follow Christ.

Another young lady also made a decision for Christ. When Carl asked her mother if they had a church home, she shared that they had just recently started attending Bluff Springs Baptist Church. Carl then made sure to speak with the pastor, who said he would follow up with the family and talk with her about taking the next step in baptism.

We rejoice over these precious decisions and thank the Lord for the faithful follow-up of both family and church. Please continue to pray for these two young lives—that they will grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.” — Luke 15:10 KJV

The Joy Of Witnessing!

April 30, 2026

Once again God is blessing the weekly Plant City, Florida Flea Market with manybpeople trusting Jesus as their Savior at the SOS Events booth.

Thank you faithful volunteers!

What a joy to be the person who witnesses to someone and that person decides to accept the Lord and leaves knowing they will spend eternity with Jesus.

If you are shy about witnessing, SOS Events has the answer. The “3 Things God Can Not Do” is an effective, non confrontational way to present the Gospel.

Let us help you have the joy of leading someone to the Lord

A Child’s Love!

April 21, 2026

Sometimes the simplest messages are the most powerful. This sweet drawing reminds us of what truly matters—love for Jesus and love for family. From the heart of a child comes a pure expression of faith and affection that speaks louder than words. May we all keep that same simple, sincere love in our hearts.

This note was written on the back of a decision card at an event with SOS Events. She and her older sister accepted Jesus as their Savior.

Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 14:19

SOS Events Around The World!

April 15, 2026

This past week, something amazing happened—over 275 people from Hong Kong, China, another 137 from Singapore, and visitors from more than 50 other countries came across the SOS Events website.

Just think about that for a moment… people from all around the world, different languages, cultures, and backgrounds, all connected by one simple thing—the opportunity to hear the Gospel.

We may not be able to travel to every nation, but God has opened a door through technology that reaches where we cannot physically go. Every visit is a soul, every click a chance, every moment an opportunity for someone to come to know Christ.

It reminds us that the mission field is not just across the ocean—it’s also right at our fingertips.

Let’s continue to pray that each visitor not only sees the message, but receives it… and that God uses SOS Events to shine His light into every corner of the world.

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Mark 16:15

Training For A New Volunteer!

April 11, 2026

It was such a blessing to welcome Ana to the SOS home office in Dover, Florida this week. She made the trip all the way from Jacksonville with a desire to learn, grow, and get involved in the work of the ministry.

Ana came to be trained, and it was clear right away that she has a heart ready to serve the Lord. After her time with us, she is preparing to volunteer at upcoming Flea Market outreaches—an area where so many lives are touched with the Gospel.

Even more exciting, Ana will be stepping into a key role as the secretary for the newly formed Jacksonville, Florida SOS team. What a joy it is to see God raising up workers who are willing to not only go out and witness, but also help organize and strengthen the ministry behind the scenes.

We are thankful for Ana’s willingness to serve and her desire to be used of the Lord. Please join us in praying for her as she begins this new chapter—both in outreach and leadership.

Here am I; send me.” — Isaiah 6:8 (KJV)

Two Egg Hunts On The Same Day In Florida!

April 10, 2026

This past Saturday, just before Easter, SOS Events had the privilege of being part of two special egg hunts in Florida—and God truly blessed both opportunities.

At the stadium in Plant City, families gathered for a fun-filled day of activities, laughter, and excitement. In the midst of the festivities, the Gospel was shared, and we rejoice that 5 individuals trusted Jesus Christ as their Savior. What a reminder that even simple community events can become life-changing moments when the message of hope is presented.

At a local Missionary Baptist Church, another egg hunt brought people together in a more intimate setting. There, hearts were touched as well, and we praise the Lord that 2 people made decisions for Christ. Every soul matters, and heaven rejoices over each one.

The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth. Psalm 145:18

Egg Hunt in Pennsylvania

April 9, 2026

This past weekend at an Easter egg hunt at Valley Forge Baptist Church in Pennsylvania, something far more important than eggs being found took place—hearts were reached with the Gospel.

During this event, 3 individuals made the life-changing decision to trust Jesus Christ as their Savior. What a blessing to see both young and older alike responding to the truth of God’s Word. From a teenager to an adult and a child, it was a beautiful reminder that the Gospel is for every age and every stage of life.

We thank the Lord for those who faithfully shared the message and for the opportunity to be a light in the community. Truly, this is what SOS Events is all about—taking the Gospel wherever people are gathered.

Let’s continue to pray for these new believers, that they will grow in their faith and follow the Lord all the days of their lives.

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”Romans 10:17 (KJV)

Mountain Top Flea Market

April 8, 2026

Recently, another successful day at the Mountain Top Flea Market in Attalla, Alabama. This SOS Events team, led by Ronnie Burlison, had 13 people who trusted Jesus as their Savior.

What a powerful reminder of this verse—faith comes by hearing the Word of God. Each conversation, each Gospel presentation, and each willing worker sharing the truth makes an eternal difference.

Those 13 decisions didn’t happen by accident. It happened because someone was willing to speak, and someone was willing to listen. God’s Word still works today just as it always has.

May we never underestimate the power of simply sharing the Gospel. You never know who is ready to hear—and believe.

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17
