Five children and one teenager made decisions to follow Jesus at the Freedom Festival in Florida. Several of the children had been at Vacation Bible School all week and they came into the booth to hear the gospel again and make sure of their salvation. We always rejoice when an adult or senior citizen accepts Christ, but a child has many more years to serve the Lord and Jesus welcomes them into the family of God.
Matthew 19:14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

13515 N US Highway 301, Thonotosassa, Fl. SOS Events Ministry will have a booth at Freedom Festival. Please pray for many people to be saved at this event. If you are in the area, you are invited for fun, food and fireworks.
SOS Events summer intern teens working hard pulling weeds on the ministry’s property (top). Then taking a well deserved rest (with a little fun added). Electricity was out yesterday and it was very hot in Florida but these girls worked until the job was finished. They are learning many things working for SOS Events this summer. They are a blessing.
God even rested after He created the world. He gave us an example. Work and rest. Both important for a happy productive life.
Hebrews 4:4 For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.
No power, no internet, no coffee, no lights, no water (pump runs water from a well). Thankfully morning comes and we have light from the sun. We are so dependent on electricity for our lifestyle that without it we seem powerless to do anything.
As Christians we have a source of power that never goes out. Jesus is the light and the power in our lives to do everything we need to do. We can do all things through Jesus. He has promised us in His Word. Do not loose your power by neglecting to read the Bible and pray everyday. We can think the power has gone out but He is waiting for us to reconnect.
This is an actual form from SOS Events team leader, Ronnie Burlison, about an event recently. Notice the decisions, ages and workers. Bill Newsom is a team leader in Tennessee who drove over to help. Thank you Ronnie, Tom and Bill for your faithfulness and especially to the Lord for the wonderful decisions. May all of these people who decided to trust in Jesus, grow in faith and continue to serve Him.
2 Peter 3:18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Seth Age 15 He saved me so I can go to heaven and I am 100% now.
Judah Age 10 He invited me to his kingdom to come when I die physically but live spiritually.
David Age 15 Help me realize that he can change my life. But I have to be patient sometimes I’m impatient so I have to truly believe and give my life to him.
Abby Age 8 Jesus saved me and it makes me feel better and safe and it makes me feel locked up in Jesus’ arms.
It is so great to read the testimonies from people who come into the SOS Events Ministry booth and make a decision to follow the Lord. These are actual words from decision cards at an event recently.
John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
It is always wonderful to see people come to the Lord. Last Saturday it was a special blessing at the Food Truck Festival in Pennsylvania where 3 people came over to see the “3 Things God Can Not Do”.
One of them had been in the church’s rehabilitation program but had not made a decision to follow the Lord when attending meetings. However when she saw the display and was curious to know what God could not do. She was not 100% sure she was going to Heaven and went back to the soul winning table. She did accept Jesus as her Savior.
The blessings is that she will now grow in Christ because she is already attending classes and church. Many people hear the gospel several times before they are ready to be saved. God allows SOS Events Ministry to then led them to the Lord.
1 Corinthians 3:7 So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.
