Have you ever had a situation where you were so frustrated and felt like giving up? Then you called upon the Lord and the answer came.
God loves His children and desires that we lean on Him for strength, wisdom and guidance.
When the answer to prayer comes we need to thank the Lord. Sometimes it is then we realize that He was there all the time. Waiting for us to call on Him.
So, when situations come that could make us feel discouraged, stop and call on God. He will answer!
Praying together is a great blessing! God is there. He answers all prayers, if you pray alone or with someone else.
But, from this verse we see that He especially is with us when we have another person with us. Agreeing together for our needs and the needs of others.
What a tremendous blessing. If you do not have a prayer partner or group, find someone that will pray with you regularly.
SOS Team praying with a man who was listening to the plan of salvation.
Over 150 people have been saved so far at Strawberry Festival this year. Praise the Lord for His faithfulness.
The volunteers who give of their time and talent have a heart for these people who pass by. Their love for the lost is amazing.
Only today and tomorrow are left, then this event will be over. Prayer for more people to be saved will be appreciated.
To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. Acts 28:16
Strawberry Festival in Florida has 3 days to share the “ good news”. Please pray earnestly for people to be saved. Many come and hear the gospel and they need to have tender hearts.
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:9
Isn’t it comforting to know that God is already working before we even form the words?
Sometimes we carry burdens quietly. We think through the problem, we rehearse the prayer in our mind, and before we ever say “Lord, help,” He is already moving. This verse reminds me that our Heavenly Father is attentive. He is not distant. He is not distracted. He is listening — even to the unspoken cries of our heart.
There have been many times in my life when the answer showed up before I realized I had truly prayed about it. That’s just how good God is. He knows the need. He sees the concern. And He lovingly responds.
Today, whatever is on your heart, be encouraged. You are not trying to get God’s attention — you already have it.
SOS Events training is important because it gives confidence to the participants.
Sometimes there is one person. Jessica came to the office to be trained so she can volunteer at the Florida Strawberry Festival that starts next Thursday.
Sunday there will be a training at Church on the Rock. Several people will then be prepared to share the Gospel at events.
Please pray for all the volunteers that will be witnessing at the Strawberry Festival and other events.
Car Show is today, Wednesday is Flea Market and Thursday is Senior Servants as well as the Festival. That is just in our small area. There are other events taking place in Alabama and beyond.
And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. John 14:13
As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Joshua 24:15
Families today are often busy and pulled in many different directions, but one thing that keeps a home strong is time spent together with the Lord. Prayer doesn’t have to be long—just a few moments each day can bring peace, unity, and encouragement.
When a family prays together, children learn faith by example, hearts stay softer toward one another, and challenges are faced as a team. A home centered on God becomes a place of love, support, and strength.
Strong families are not perfect families—they are families who choose to stay connected and serve the Lord together. Even simple times of prayer at the table or before bed can build lasting bonds that carry through generations.
