Recently new neighbors moved into a house close to the SOS Events office. There were toys in the yard, cars in the driveway but no one was ever out in the yard to talk to. Everyone in the office wondered who our new neighbors were. Finally, one morning while passing by their house, Diana, SOS Events office manager, decided to stop by to invite the children to church.
Imagine the surprise when Carolyn walked into the office to find it full of children. Six to be exact, along with their grandmother. Diana had not only invited them to church but led the whole family to the Lord then brought them to the office to meet the rest of the office staff. Soul winning is something that should be on the hearts and minds of every Christian and SOS Events is blessed to have staff that witness not only at events but in our lives everyday.
Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

If you are trusting in good works, church membership, money or success, you are LOST! The only way to be saved is to trust in, rely upon the only person who can forgive your sins, that Person is JESUS. He came to earth for one purpose, to seek and to save those who are lost.
If you have never accepted Jesus as your LORD and SAVIOR, now is the time to be saved. At the end of our life there is only one question to be answered, Are you saved or lost?
Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

These are pictures of our 2nd night at Clay County Rodeo in Ashland, Alabama with SOS Events Ministry. We had a great time at this event and are excited to know it will be a annual event and SOS Events Ministry are welcomed back. We ended the weekend with 10 souls being added to the Kingdom and 14 now have assurance they are 100% sure they are going to Heaven. We talked to 431 people and gave out 425 tracts and all know there were seeds planted and in God’s timing they will be harvested. Thank you to David Rush ,Nan Barnes, Tina Hosey and Cathy Griffen Howard for coming out to volunteer. It was a great weekend Serving Our Savior.

Our faith is in the God of the Bible who keeps his promises.
Galatians 3:22 But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.
Acts 26:18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

Everyday we should worship the Lord when we first wake up, with Bible reading and prayer, but Sunday is a special day when we can gather with likeminded Christians to worship God together. If you are able to go to church today, you will be blessed. If you are not able to go then worship Him in your heart. God desires the worship and praise of His children.

The devil is after YOU. We must be aware at all times that he is trying to ruin our testimony. None of us are exempt from his wicked devises. He makes sin look good and we fall into his trap. Marriages failing, drinking, drugs, anxiety and many other seemingly innocent sins creep into our lives one small step at a time. We must resist the devil and he will flee. Let’s pray for one another, family, friends, coworkers and neighbors, that they and we, will be able to resist the devil.

It is Rodeo week, in Alabama this Friday and Saturday August 24th and 25th. Come join us. Lots of fun. Kiddie Zone with inflatables and games. Live music before Friday nights performance. Can’t wait to be a part of this event. SOS Events Ministry will be sharing the Gospel under the tent Friday and Saturday nights. Y’all come on out and join us.

August 17th and 18th was a great weekend for Ronnie Burlison, Team Leader in Alabama. SOS Events Team had a booth at the annual Franklin County Watermelon Festival. There were 115 decisions to follow Jesus. 86 Salvations and 29 assurances of salvation. What a wonderful event. Ronnie also reported that many Christians want to be trained to help in future events. All the Praise goes to the Lord. He saves and works on hearts of unbelievers and well as believers.
Revelation 19:1 And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God:
