SOS Events Praise Report

June 30, 2015

SOS Events Ministry fiscal year officially ends in June. The yearly report for 2014 states that there were:

1. 1,877 Decisions to trust in the Lord

2. 1 New Missionary 

3. 10 New Leaders 

4. 170 Workers trained

God has richly blessed and continues to bless this soul winning ministry and all the Praise goes to Him. As things in the USA and around the world gets more difficult for CHRISTIANS, the goal of SOS Events is to win the lost, one soul at a time. Join with us in Praise to the Lord and prayer for even better success in this year.

A special thanks goes to the board members, supporters and everyone who has worked so hard to bring people into the Kingdom of God.

Psalms 145:10 All thy works shall praise thee, O Lord; and thy saints shall bless thee.

Blessings from New Jersey

The training in New Jersey went really well Sunday morning. Chris Domenech did a great job as always. The New Jersey team had the privilege of training three people at Faith Baptist  Church. Brenda and Susan from Bordentown Calvary Chapel and Ella who was referred to by the SOS team.   

SOS Events is blessed to have a great team in New Jersey. This group has been partnering with the ministry for many years and hundreds of people have been saved. True Worship

Everyday  is a day to worship God. The Bible says worship Him in spirit and in truth. True worship comes from the heart. Some people think church attendance, good works or any other form of outward appearance is true worship but God looks on the heart. So as we go to church, witness, love our neighbors and follow the Lord’s commands, which are all good things, we must have the right motive and worship Him from our heart.

John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

JESUS is the Answer

It is hard to stay positive with all the news that is swirling around us. Killing all over the world, wars, rumors of wars, crazy weather patterns, decisions from courts that are not biblical, good is called evil and evil is called good. 

The Bible tells us that this will happen and we are seeing it now. The solution for the individual: turn to the only true answer for peace of mind and heart JESUS. JESUS is the answer. 

If you do not have Him as your personal Savior go to the home page and scroll down to the “3 Things God Can Not Do” follow all the instructions through the ABC’s and go to the prayer, sincerely ask forgiveness and repent of all your sins. Jesus will become your Savior and walk with you from that moment on.

If you do that we request that you then fill out the decision card and SOS Events will sent you free Bible studies so you can begin your new life with Christ.

Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved

Peace of God

Forgiveness

“God sometimes uses things he hates to accomplish things he loves.”

This is a quote from one of the granddaughters of a man that was murdered in   Charleston, SC. What a testimony to the world of how a Christian should react to tragedy. 

The families of the 9 people who were shot by an evil young man have shown love and forgiveness to the one who killed their loved ones. They have followed the example of JESUS who when He was dying on the cross said, “Father, forgive them.”

Luke 23:34  Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.

Growing Again

June 24, 2015

SOS Events is growing again. This week in Florida there will be two trainings for new workers. One today where a young granddaughter will come to be trained so she can work with her grandmother at events.

Tomorrow, a Spanish Pastor and his wife will come to be trained as trainers so they can train their church members to be soul winners at events. They already have new events planned.

Also, 3 display boards will be shipped out this week, one to Pennsyvania and 2 to Alabama.

God is giving the growth and the blessings continue to pour in on SOS Events. Please keep the staff in your prayers that He will give wisdom and strength to keep up with the growth.

Acts 6:7 And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly;

Effectual Prayer

June 23, 2015

Thank you for your prayers for Tom Curtis yesterday. His pacemaker surgery went so well that he was able to come home after a few hours. God answers prayer.

James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Prayer Request

June 22, 2015

Today, please pray for Tom Curtis, founder of SOS Events, as he will be getting a new pacemaker. He has been waiting for a long time and finally conditions are right. Pray for a speedy recovery. Tom’s desire is to be able to resume going to events to witness and win souls for JESUS.

Happy Fathers Day

Happy Fathers Day to all the Fathers today. Fatherhood is a great blessing but also a great responsibility. May you call upon the Heavenly Father to guide you as you rear your children.

The greatest thing you can do for your children is lead them into the knowledge and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Proverbs 4:1 ​ Hear, ye children, the instruction of a father, and attend to know understanding.
