Jesus Has Risen! Happy Resurrection Day!

April 5, 2026

In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre. And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it. His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow: And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men. And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you. Matthew 26:1-9

Jesus Died For You!

April 4, 2026

John 19:17 & 18 And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha: Where they crucified him, and two other with him, on either side one, and Jesus in the midst.

John 19:30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting

Jesus Praying In The Garden

April 3, 2026

In the quiet darkness of the garden, we see Jesus at one of the most intense moments of His earthly life. He was not surrounded by crowds, miracles, or celebration—only silence, sorrow, and surrender. Yet in that moment, He prayed.

What stands out is not just His anguish, but His obedience. Jesus knew what lay ahead, and still He bowed His will to the Father: “not my will, but thine, be done.”

How often do we pray for God to change our circumstances, but hesitate when His answer requires surrender? The garden reminds us that true strength is found in yielding to God’s plan, even when it is difficult.

Today, whatever you are facing, take it to the Lord in prayer. And like Jesus, trust Him enough to say, “Your will be done.”

Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.” — Luke 22:42

The Last Supper!

April 1, 2026

And as they did eat, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and brake it, and gave to them, and said, Take, eat: this is my body. And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them: and they all drank of it. And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many. Mark 14: 22-24

There is so much more about the Last Supper as we call it. Please read more about this last meal Jesus had with His disciples before His death. There is so much we can learn about how He wants us to live.

Jesus And The Money Changers

March 31, 2026

And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves, And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves. Matthew 21:12-13

Monday, Jesus And The Fig Tree!

March 30, 2026

On Monday, the day after Jesus wrote into Jerusalem on a donkey, Jesus was walking with his disciples. He saw a fig tree that had no fruit and he said that this fig tree will never again have fruit.

Later, when they pass that way again, the tree had withered and died. Jesus had power and dominion over everything that was ever created.

And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet. Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it. Mark 11:13-14

The Tomb Was Sealed!

April 19, 2025

Jesus is dead. The tomb is sealed. The disciples are in shock and grief. Is there no hope?

The days between the crucifixion and resurrection must have been really hard for the followers of Jesus. The One they had put their trust in, the One who was going to be King. Confused, sorrowful and disappointed they probably did nothing. Some waited together and others waited alone. People react differently when someone they love dies.

Today there are many people who have the same reaction to Jesus. Some doubt. Some do not believe in Him. Others reject Him. They do not realize what He can do for them.

Today is the day before Resurrection Sunday. Are you like these people or are you excited about tomorrow? The tomb did not stay sealed. The stone rolled away and JESUS arose. Let us celebrate the glorious resurrection not only tomorrow but everyday. JESUS lives…

Mark 16:6 And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.
