How can we have peace in this world of troubles? Wars, illness, poverty, unrest and all the problems we see in our country and even in our own lives.
Jesus gives us the answer in the Bible. Peace comes from knowing and trusting in Jesus. Are the troubles still there? Yes, but Jesus can give a peace that is beyond our understanding.
If you are worried or burdened about anything, give all those burdens to the Lord! He wants to give you peace.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Galatians 5:22
God gives us many fruits of the Spirit when we are saved. One of the great blessings is peace.
We do not need to be worried or afraid. God promises peace. We need to demonstrate that peace to others. We should live a peaceful life at home, in the workplace and wherever we are.
We are calm and quiet in all circumstances, not adding stress in any situation. If this is not your personality ask the Lord to help you obtain peace.
Matthew 11:28-30 – Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Whatever your weather is where you are, stormy, cold, hot, or beautiful, one thing we need to do is praise the Lord.
God is with you today. It may not be physical weather outside that concerns you, it may be a situation or turmoil within. Whatever you need, God is with you to bring into your life sunny weather.
Praise Him as if the day is sunny already and He will give you peace and joy!
God’s Word gives us the answer to what we should think about. If we think positive thoughts we will be happy and contented no matter what our circumstances.
Thinking negatively will only cause us to be anxious and worry. Negative thinking is not trusting in God.
“Our heavenly Father understands our disappointment, suffering, pain, fear, and doubt. He is always there to encourage our hearts and help us understand that He’s sufficient for all of our needs. When I accepted this as an absolute truth in my life, I found that my worrying stopped.” Dr. Charles Stanley
