September 29, 2018Day 1 of 11: SOS Events at Fair with 17 decisions for Christ (9 salvations and 8 assurances). 4 others weren’t quite ready and we are praying for and following up with all of them. Also had 4 Pastors take pastor packets wanting to get their church trained on SOS. Praise the Lord! Thank you for volunteering Kathy Royal, Jessica Fleming, Carl Norton and leader Patty Mills. Shout out to Cindy McDonald for already starting on follow up! Great 1st night – 10 to go. Keep praying! @ Alabama National Fair. God gives the increase.

Pray Then Work

SOS Events Ministry focuses on prayer, especially for events. Prayer for the workers and prayer for the unsaved. The event season has arrived! Fall festivals and events of all kinds take place in the next 5 weeks. Please pray with us for good weather, wisdom for the workers and most of all for Salvations of people who go to events but not to church. Upcoming events in Alabama, Florida, Indiana, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Tennessee and more. Please join with us in prayer if you cannot join with us in person. Also, pray that YOU will be the worker that God uses to get out the gospel.

God Wants To Work In Your Life
September 26, 2018Do you want to see God Work in your life? He will if we do what He commands. Want wisdom? Go soul winning. Want joy? Be filled with the Spirit. Want healing? Pray. There are many more promises in the Bible, many of them have something for us to do. Search the scriptures for the answer.

Fellowship

On Saturday was a good time of fellowship when several of SOS Events Senior Servants gathered together to have this photo taken at the Birthday Party in honor of Sarah’s 80th Birthday. Her family held a surprise party at her church. SOS Events is not only a ministry to serve the Lord but the friendships that have developed over the years are one of the many blessings God gives when we serve Him.
1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
5 Ways To Get Rid Of Your Preacher
September 23, 20181. Sit up front, smile, and say “Amen” every time he says something good. He will preach himself to death.
2. Pat him on the back and tell him what good work he is doing in the church and the community. He will work himself to death.
3. Increase your offering to the church. He will suffer from shock.
4. Tell him you have decided to join the visitation group and help win souls for the Lord. He will probably suffer a heart attack.
5. Get the whole church to band together to pray for him. He will get so if efficient that some other church will hear about him and give him a call. That will take him off your hands.

Jesus is Coming

Time is short. Jesus may come anytime to meet us in the air. Do you have loved ones, neighbors or friends who are lost? What about those who will never step foot in church but go to events in your area? We must get busy winning souls. Do we want to meet Jesus empty handed?
