Life and Death!

July 16, 2022

Really! Do we as born again Christians really believe that if we die we have gained?

Many people have died for their faith. The disciples, martyrs, missionaries and ordinary people who loved Jesus enough to stand for Him even in the face of terrible deaths.

We Christians, especially in America and the Nations in the free world are soft, lazy and contented to live out our lives in comfort.

What if persecution should come. Are we ready? We need to re-examine our faith. To die IS GAIN. We are going to meet our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ!

Think about it.

Death, Not The End, Just The Beginning

March 16, 2022

Today many of SOS Events staff will attend the funeral of a friend, Joyce Elaine Sherwood Schlegel Morris. Her husband Danny Morris was the person who helped SOS Events Ministry get started.

Joyce will be missed. However, it is not the end of her life, it is just the beginning.

The Bible tells us that we have eternal life if we have trusted Jesus as our Savior. There will be tears today because we will no longer see her on this earth but we do have the assurance that we will meet again in Heaven.

And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 1 John 5:11

Y el testimonio es éste: que Dios nos ha dado vida eterna, y esta vida está en su Hijo. 1Juan 5:11

Life or Death

March 2, 2021

The only way to have eternal life is through Jesus. If you do not know for sure you will spend eternity with Him, ask Jesus to forgive your sins, come into your heart and accept Jesus as your Savior.

It is your choice. Death or Life.

Our Basic Need

Jesus also said:

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Work and Rest

June 26, 2019

SOS Events summer intern teens working hard pulling weeds on the ministry’s property (top). Then taking a well deserved rest (with a little fun added). Electricity was out yesterday and it was very hot in Florida but these girls worked until the job was finished. They are learning many things working for SOS Events this summer. They are a blessing.

God even rested after He created the world. He gave us an example. Work and rest. Both important for a happy productive life.

Hebrews 4:4 For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.

Christmas Symbol The Wreath

December 4, 2018

The wreath has significant meaning for the season. It’s circular shape represents eternity, for it has no beginning and no end. For a Christian, it represents an unending circle of life. The evergreen, most frequently used in making wreathes, symbolizes growth and everlasting life.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
