SOS Events at Talladega Races

April 30, 2019

Twenty decisions were recorded at the Talladega Races this past weekend. Thank you to all the faithful SOS Events volunteers who work so hard to make this event a success. Praise the Lord for the 20 people who decided to follow Jesus.

Matthew 4:19 And he (Jesus) saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.

SOS Events Christian Baptized

April 29, 2019

Yesterday at Boone’s Chapel in Alabama they baptized a young lady. Over a year ago this young lady gave her life to Christ through SOS Events at Boone’s Chapel Fall Festival. It is wonderful to see her following through with Believers baptism.

There are many salvation stories that do not get told as a result of SOS Events Ministry, But it is thrilling to hear of the lasting results of people who’s lives have been changed. It is a blessing to be part of a ministry that God uses to bring people to salvation by trusting Jesus to be their Savior.

Romans 6:4

Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Psalm 122:1 I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord.

Talladega NASCAR Races

April 27, 2019

3 SOS Events volunteers waiting for race car fans to stop and see the “3 Things God Can Not Do” at the Talladega Races. Today is the trials for tomorrow’s big race and many people walk by the booth as they look to see all the vendors products. They come to be part of the experience, to eat food, buy race car memorabilia, but they do not expect to find Jesus.

Please pray with us today that many souls will come to know and accept Jesus as their Savior.

2 Corinthians 6:2

(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

National Pretzel Day

April 26, 2019

Sometimes we need something to make us smile. Everyday there is a Special National Day for something on that date that you probably never heard of. Today is April 26 and it is National Pretzel Day. Would the average person celebrate it. No! But it is a fun fact to make your Friday a little bit brighter.

Also, a reminder that with Jesus everyday is special and we do not need a special day to honor Him.

Psalms 145:2 Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.

Young Mother’s Salvation

April 25, 2019

Folks come to the Flea Market to shop, enjoy good weather or just to have something to do. They are not looking for the answer on how to get to Heaven. Then they walk by the SOS Events booth and one of the SOS volunteers will say to them, “Come and see the 3 Things God Can Not Do.”

Yesterday, the young Mother in this photo stopped by the booth at the Plant City, Florida Flea Market and Alice had the privilege of sharing the gospel with her. She accepted Jesus as her Savior. One other person also trusted Christ. There is nothing that brings more joy in our life than to see people get saved.

SOS Events Ministry trains Christians to go to events and present the gospel in a simple non confrontational way. You can have joy in your life when you become part of a soul winning team with SOS Events Ministry. There are opportunities in every area in the USA and beyond. We would love to have you on our team, wherever you are.

Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

Administrative Professionals Day – April 24, 2019

April 24, 2019

Diana Guiliano, Office Manager, SOS Events Ministry.

Alice Thomas, Event Coordinator, SOS Events Ministry.

Today is National Administrative Professionals Day. Maybe you have never heard of it. U.S. Secretary of Commerce Charles W. Sawyer initiated the first celebration of administrative professionals in 1952. While these positions are often not given their due praise, any successful business is aware that the administrative staff keep things running like a well-oiled machine, so make sure to let the administrative professionals in your life know they are appreciated today!

These 2 women are greatly appreciated as administrative professionals. SOS Events could not have flourished and grown without our dedicated staff. Thank you Diana and Alice.

1 Corinthians 1:4 I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ;

Preparing for a Trip

April 23, 2019

When going on a trip, business or pleasure, we prepare by making sure we pack everything we may need. Proper clothing, toiletries and identification. We are looking forward to the trip with great anticipation.

We are preparing for the greatest trip we will ever take, the journey to Heaven. The preparation should be the most important thing on our minds. The first thing is salvation. No one enters Heaven without it. Then, daily Bible reading and prayer. A pure lifestyle is important, also. Are you ready for this trip?

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Alabama SOS Events

April 22, 2019

Saturday was one of those days when you can sit back an marvel at God’s perfect timing. Beth and Wesley were delayed at the New Site Car Show and Trade Day until after 8 am because of rain. They set up the SOS Events Ministry tent and shared the Gospel with a very small amount of passersby due to the windy and rainy weather. After a few hours most people were leaving so they decided to call it a day.

God’s perfect timing. Beth needed to go to Foodland to grab a bell pepper for chilli and that was God’s Divine Appointment. Wesley got out and shared a tract with Montavius who was on his break (again perfect timing) and he wasn’t 100% sure that he was going to heaven. He asked Jesus Christ to be his Lord and Savior right in front of the store as people walked by. And the angels and heaven rejoiced over the one who was added to the Kingdom!!!

So as we know sometimes it is not about sharing with a lot of people it’s about God’s perfect timing and divine appointments he has set up for us . Thank you Lord for a rainy and windy day so we could be right where you needed us to be and for the Gospel to be shared to a open heart . This is what Montavius said after he prayed “After I prayed a heavy weight was lifted from my spirit. I feel all the love of God flowing all over me He is awesome!! ” This is what a tract handed out and a burden for the lost can do. It was a great day Serving Our Savior!!!

Proverbs 3:6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
