Sometimes, we have to send out an SOS to the Lord in prayer. He is faithful to answer. An acronym for how to get prayers answered follows:
Sincere: it is important that we are sincere when we pray. God knows our heart and He knows if we really desire what we are asking for.
Obedience: we must be sure we are obedient to God’s word. There must not be any known sin in our lives.
Specific: we must be specific and tell God exactly what we need.
Jeremiah 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

Salvation Reports are flowing into the Home Office and we are Praising the Lord for answered prayer for souls. The following report from Patty Mills, Team Leader in Alabama:
Alsbom/Crossover Ministries Health Fair and Dental Clinic at Sixth Avenue Baptist Church had 10 decisions for Christ today!! 8 salvations and 2 assurances!!! 3 others weren’t quite ready. Thanking God for the opportunity to partner with others in sharing the gospel and love of Jesus Christ.

Social media can be used to edify or destroy. Sometimes people look to Face Book, WeChat or other forms of communication for advice before they turn to the one who has the real answers.
This sign on a highway in Georgia says if all. Great advice.
Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Today is Wednesday and SOS Events volunteers will have a booth at the Plant City Flea Market as usual. Last week there were 12 decisions for salvation. You can help win people to the Lord if you will pray for souls today and every Wednesday. SOS Events workers will be there but only God Can bring people in and convict hearts.
John 12:32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

Many people stop by the SOS Events booth at Strawberry Festival. This is the Strawberry Festival Queen, Kendall Gaudens, with her Court. Today we ask you to pray for the next five days for all the people who walk by the booth that they will stop, look and listen to the gospel and be make a decision to follow Jesus.
Philippians 1:19 For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,

It is hard to believe that the Florida Strawberry Festival is 3 weeks away. The excitement of the opportunity to win people to the Lord is building. There are still decorations to be made for the booth, several trainings to get new workers, finalize the schedule and many things to numerous to mention. (2018 photo)
Please pray with us for a wonderful harvest of souls at the Festival this year. All the work that goes into a large event is worth everything if only one soul gets saved, but we are setting a goal and praying for 300.

It’s almost here!!! SOS Events Annual Meeting in Florida. February 2, 10-2 in Lakeland, Florida. If you have ever worked with SOS Events in any way, or have an interest in becoming a volunteer, come and join us for this fun filled, informative day. Today in the USA we see politicians , political parties, congressmen and women not able to come to agreement on several issues. The problem is not politics, the problem is the lack of wisdom from the source that could bring unity. Trust in God and decisions based on the Bible. The first President of the United States, George Washington, knew where to seek wisdom as he stated. If all of the people in government would seek the wisdom of God and stop the hate and fighting, we could see peace and unity once again.
As Christians it is our responsibility pray for our leaders, even if we do not agree with them or their agenda.
I Timothy 2:1&2 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty
