In my devotional reading this morning, I came across this wonderful verse for parents, especially those with small children.
Training takes time, consistency, and patience. Start early, teaching your children to follow the Lord by reading Scripture together and praying every day. These simple habits help build a foundation of faith that they can carry throughout their lives.
It is also important to be an example. Our children are watching how we live, listening to our words, and learning from our actions. Let them see us trusting the Lord, showing kindness, and turning to Him in prayer.
I am so thankful that this is how we trained our children when they were small. Today, they are wonderful adults with children and grandchildren of their own. What a blessing to see another generation growing!
Parents, the time you spend teaching your children about the Lord is precious. Begin while they are young, be consistent, and keep praying for them.
