Yesterday evening, SOS Events volunteers Mike Martin and Carol Hearn represented our ministry at the Central Florida Baptist Association Pastors Conference in Lakeland, Florida.
What a blessing to have this opportunity to introduce SOS Events to pastors! Two pastors accepted our Pastor Packs, which explain the ministry of SOS Events and how churches can become involved in reaching people with the Gospel.
We are praying that this opportunity will result in new SOS Events teams in these churches and possibly additional financial support for the ministry.
Over 20 years ago, at a similar Baptist Association meeting that Faith Baptist Church in New Jersey heard about SOS Events and the Ministry received its very first supporting church. What a blessing that this church continues to faithfully support our ministry today!
We never know how God will use one meeting, one conversation, or one willing pastor to open doors for the Gospel.
Please pray that the seeds planted at this conference will bear much fruit for eternity.
1 Corinthians 3:6 (KJV)
“I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.”
