Last evening, I had the wonderful opportunity to gather with a group of pastors and ministry leaders in the Brandon, Florida, area for a special time of prayer and fellowship.
Together, we focused on three important prayer requests:
- Our Nation – Praying for America, our leaders, and the upcoming elections, asking God to guide our country and turn hearts back to Him.
- Our Families – Praying for God’s protection, wisdom, and strength for our families, that our homes would honor and serve the Lord.
- Evangelism and Revival – Praying for a great spiritual awakening, that Christians would boldly share the Gospel and that many souls would come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.
What a blessing it was to join together with others who have a heart for reaching the lost!
I also had the privilege of sharing my personal testimony of how I came to know Jesus Christ and presenting SOS Events Ministry. It was exciting to see the interest and enthusiasm among these pastors and ministry leaders as they learned about opportunities to become trained volunteers and share the Gospel through SOS Events.
Please join us in prayer that God will open doors for SOS Events Ministry throughout the Brandon, Florida, area and beyond. Our desire is to see churches working together, Christians stepping forward to witness, and precious souls coming to know Jesus as their Savior.
We believe God can do great and mighty things when His people come together in prayer and are willing to serve Him!
Scripture for Today – 2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV)
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
To God be the glory for the great things He has done and for what He is going to do!
