As Christians we sometimes complain about social media, but it is something that is also a great blessing. A way to keep up with family and friends. Sharing good news and photos. A way we can rejoice with those who have good news and comfort those in sorrow.
Let us use the media to honor and glorify God and share the “Good News”. We have an opportunity in our lifetime that was not even available just a few years ago. Praise the Lord for this wonderful way to communicate with one another not only locally but all over the world.
Romans 12:15 Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.

Every time our phone rings it gives us an opportunity to witness or encourage someone. We get calls that are very pleasant, from family or friends. We can use these calls to encourage and pray for each other. It’s a great way to stay in touch with loved ones far away.
We also get calls that are extremely annoying, like a solicitor trying to get us to donate or buy something we don’t want or need. Our first reaction is to hang up..but wait. It may be an opportunity to witness to that person. They may listen or they will hang up on us. Then we have accomplished something. A seed planted or we have gotten rid of an annoying call. Let’s use every opportunity that God gives us to bring honor to Him.
Galatians 6:10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

Today take a moment to me thankful for your family. You may have a small family or a very large family. Spouse, children, grandchildren and others. This poem is what family is…sharing joys and sorrows, good times and bad. Sticking together even if we don’t agree. Earthly family is important in our lives and one of our greatest blessings.
Christians have another family. The family of God. We should have the same love and care for our Christian brothers and sisters as we do our biological family. God expects nothing less from each of us.
John 15:12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

Have you ever tried to book an airline flight and have had nothing but problems, trying to get from one place to another? That may be a problem, but the Good News is than getting a “ticket” to Heaven is so simple.
A. Admit you are a sinner. For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23
B. Believe on the Lord Jesus. “That if thou shall confess with thy mouth and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him (Jesus) from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” Romans 10:9
C. Call upon the name of the Lord. “For whosoever (you) shall call upon the name of the Lord, shall be saved.” Romans 10:13
If you have not booked your “ticket” to Heaven, do it today.

A Shocking 47% Of Millennials Say Evangelism Is Wrong. Relevant Magazine
“Almost half of Millennials (47%) agree at least somewhat that it is wrong to share one’s personal beliefs with someone of a different faith in hopes that they will one day share the same faith.”
The article said they believe in Jesus, but do not think we should share the Gospel with others. Christians, we must reach not only the lost millennials (ages 18-35), but we must teach our Christian young people that the Jesus they follow commanded us to spread the gospel. A whole generation and generations to follow will be lost if we do not do more to reach them.
Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
