We met a young man maybe in his 30’s or early 40’s but originally from Scotland but on fire for God.
We pray he will like to join us with the SOS Events Ministry in Ohio. He speaks at churches too. He goes downtown Toledo and when he sees rough looking young people he hops out of his car and ministers to them. We will see what God has for us.
This is a matter of prayer as the Ohio Team needs more volunteers to work with SOS Events.
Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest. Matthew 9:37 & 38
What a blessing to be able to go to Temple Terrace Chamber of Commerce Luncheon to promote SOS Events in the community.
An additional blessing is that Graceanne, Carolyn’s daughter is able to go to many of the same events for her business.
The name of Jesus is also lifted at this monthly meeting as Carolyn usually is ask to pray for the meeting.
But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and be ready always to give an answer to every man who asketh you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear. 1Peter 3:15
SOS Events Ministry has grown from a thought in the minds of Tom and Carolyn Curtis, to a large ministry with Teams in 15 States and expecting 2 more in the near future.
Tom and Carolyn traveled in a motor home all around the USA in 2001 stopping at churches explaining how to go to events like fairs, yard sales, community events presenting the Gospel using the “3 Things God Can Not Do”.
Little by little the ministry began to grow. Tom went home to be with the Lord in 2016 but SOS Events continues to expand with the Leadership of a Board of Directors and Carolyn Curtis as President.
The Lord is blessing the ministry and all the results come from Him. If God is working on your heart to join with SOS Events to win people to him do not hesitate to contact the home office for more information.

James Dean Rod Run Car Show is over, but the lives of 134 people as Christians are just beginning.
God gave the SOS Events Team wonderful success on the weekend. Beautiful weather, great teamwork and most importantly opportunity to witness and bring others to Jesus.
Praise the Lord for His faithfulness. He is the one who draws the people to the SOS Events booth.
As we lift up the name of Jesus, He draws people to us.
And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. John12:32
The Sunshine State Quartet will be singing at SOS Events Annual Celebration on April 6th next year.
You may think it is too early to announce the event, but this event is planned far in advance for YOU. It is a time SOS Leaders, volunteers, supporters and friends get together and rejoice over what God has done through the ministry the past year.
Plan on attending for the food, fun and fellowship. There is no cost, Everyone is welcome. Donations are appreciated.

Wednesday Evening Service at Cleveland Heights Baptist Church in Lakeland, Florida, Carolyn Curtis, Stephanie Curtis, Alice Thomas, Diana Guiliano along with the Sunshine State Quartet had the blessing of presenting SOS Events Ministry to the congregation.
Thank you, Pastor Ivey for the opportunity. This church is already active in spreading the gospel with SOS Events , however, the Pastor wanted to remind the current volunteers and encourage the rest of the congregation to witness for the Lord.
On September 30 they are having a Fall Festival where the SOS Events booth will be the first thing people attending will see. Pray souls will be saved at this event.
To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. Acts 26:18
Carolyn Curtis, cofounder of SOS Events Ministry, had opportunity to present to the Ladies Fellowship at Liberty Baptist Church in Gallatin, Tennessee.
A sweet group of women listened intently as Carolyn gave her testimony and then told about the simple way of presenting the Gospel using the “3 Things God Can Not Do”.
Praying for a new team in that part of Tennessee. Two events are planned in the next month.

SOS Events Ministry focuses on prayer, especially for events. Prayer for the workers and prayer for the unsaved.
The event season has arrived! Fall festivals and events of all kinds take place in the next 10 weeks.
Please pray with us for good weather, wisdom for the workers and most of all for Salvations of people who go to events but not to church.
