Praise the Lord for 10 people who made decisions to follow Jesus at the Plant City Farm and Flea Market yesterday. The Bible tells us to GO and He blesses the SOS Events team members who go to the Market each week. Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
You may be from a very large family or a small one, but being part of a family is a great blessing. Family sticks together through good times and bad. Someone is there to be with you to join in laughter or tears. Siblings have a special bond that should last for a lifetime. Maybe you are an only child or have had what seems to be an unrepairable disagreement with a family member. Good news! If you have accepted Jesus as your Savior, you are in the family of God and you have a friend that is closer than a brother. Jesus is with you always and you can go to Him with your joys and sorrows.
Proverbs 18:24 A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.
Carolyn Curtis (founder of SOS Events Ministry) is traveling by car from NY State back home to Florida. She went to a family reunion so many of her children and grandchildren are also traveling long distances. When the family is scattered, it is a great blessing to be able to trust the Lord for safety on the highway for all. Carolyn has 41 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren not counting spouses or her children, so it is a large family for the Lord to look after.
Psalms 4:8 I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety.
Praying is work. Have you ever been praying and your mind will wander to a different subject? Or not been able to get to sleep and decided to pray and in just a little while you have fallen asleep?
Prayer is the one weapon the that Satan does not want you to use. Prayer will give you answers to problems or decisions that you are unsure about. God delights in hearing from His children.
The most wonderful thing is that He is interested in the smallest things in our lives and He loves to have us ask for them. Need a parking place or want to have someone call you that you haven’t heard from in awhile? Then there it is.. the parking place right in front of the building. The phone rings and the person who you wanted to talk to is calling. Coincidence some people say. No, answer to prayer from a loving Father who loves His children, and likes to give good things to them.
Matthew 7:11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
SOS board being used in VBS last night at County Line.. Yes this method of sharing Jesus can be used anywhere. Our focus was Love Jesus Love people and Share the Gospel. Thanks Bro. Fred for the 3 Things God Cannot Do bases and kick ball the little ones had a blast!!! Pray for us as we continue this week sharing Christ.
2 Timothy 3:15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
Many times SOS Events display boards are used by Pastors to present the gospel in church. This photo shows Mark Maddox speaking at Faith Baptist church in Homosassa Fla on Memorial weekend. The display board is one of the tools that is used to help people understand the plan of salvation.
Acts 14:7 And there they preached the gospel.
After several weeks of drenching rain SOS Events was finally able to go to the Plant City Flea Market on Wednesday. The Lord blessed with 14 precious souls inviting Jesus to be their Savior. Thank you Lord for holding off the rain until 11 AM and for the souls saved in a short amount of time. Randy with 4 of the 14.

What a great day with SOS Events Ministry at Santuck Flea Market in Alabama on Saturday. All the team members have wonderful stories of lives being changed forever as people surrender their lives to Christ. We were blessed with 26 souls being added to the Kingdom. 475 tracts we’re given out and almost 200 people came before the board to be asked if they knew “3 Things God Can Not Do”. That’s a lot of seeds being planted. A big thank you to Beth, Wes, David, Carl and Patricia for being there and their work Serving Our Savior.
