June 24, 2018Time For Love
June 23, 2018This time of year seems to have a lot of celebrations that focus on love. Weddings, engagements and anniversaries. It is wonderful to see couples who love one another. Maybe you are one of the people who do not have that special someone in your life who loves you. You have been hurt, your spouse has died or deserted you. The good news is you DO have someone who loves you and will never leave you. That person is Jesus. He loves you so much He died for you and He will never leave you or forsake you. If you have not accepted Him as your Savior, do it today.
1 John 4:9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
Witnessing in the Business World
June 22, 2018
Carolyn Curtis had a great opportunity to share with business women. Women Empowering Business, FL, meets every Wednesday morning. Witnessing for the Lord wherever we can.
Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
Wednesday Mornings
June 21, 2018
Wednesday Mornings have once again been blessed. This week 15 precious people were saved at the Plant City Flea Market. Every week God blesses the efforts of SOS Events soul winners who go to the market before sunrise to set up a booth and get ready to talk to people about Jesus. When we go, the Holy Spirit works in the hearts of men and women, boys and girls to hear the gospel. Praise the Lord.
Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
Time
June 20, 2018Do you ever feel like time flies and you don’t have enough hours in the day to get everything done? We live in a world that keeps us so busy that sometimes we neglect the important things, friends, family but most importantly God. He should be the first priority in our lives and everyday should start out with reading His Word and prayer. If we take that time the rest will fall into place and we can accomplish what needs to be done.
Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Future Events
June 19, 2018
Bill and Pat Newsom, Team Leaders and Trainers, checked out the “Moon Pie & RC Cola Festival” in Bell Buckle, Tennessee recently. This is a yearly event with thousands of people attending. Bill contacted a local church in the area and are making plans for SOS Events to have a booth next year. The Tennessee Team is actively looking for new events and also new team members.
Luke 14:23 And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.
Entertainment
June 18, 2018Entertainment is important to us as Christians especially in the USA where we have so much time to spend on sports, hobbies, TV or whatever we do for relaxation. The Bible tells us that whatever we do, do it for the glory of God. How we spend our “free” time is important. We must be careful to watch (TV or movies) and listen (music or conversation) to things that will bring glory to God in our personal lives and for those around us who look to us for spiritual guidance.
1 Corinthians 10:31 Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.
Happy Father’s Day
June 17, 2018
Reminder!
June 16, 2018Tomorrow is Father’s Day. A time to honor your Dad for all he does for you. Maybe your father is no longer here or he was never there for you. You have a FATHER who loves you, protects you and will always be there for you. Give thanks for your physical father, and especially for GOD THE FATHER.
Ephesians 6:2 Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;)
