While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts….

Flea Market Opportunity

May 31, 2019

Every week in Plant City, FL, SOS Events Ministry has a booth. Many people make decisions to trust Jesus as their Savior at this weekly event. Usually, 5 or 6 decisions are recorded each week.

Flea Markets are a great place to witness. Some of the teams go weekly, monthly or occasionally. Summer is the opportunity to go. The cost is usually low and people will come to the booth to find out what the “3 Things God Can Not Do” are. Do not let this opportunity pass you by. Find out where the markets are in your area.

Matthew 22:9 Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage.

May 30, 2019

Have you ever been impatient? Waiting for something to happen but it seems it never will. Then, in God’s perfect timing, the answer comes, even better than you could imagine. We have all been there. Let us determine in our hearts to wait on Him for guidance.

No Events Today?

May 25, 2019

Sometimes a weekend will come with no scheduled events for SOS Events Ministry. What should we do? Tom Curtis, cofounder of SOS Events said, “Getting up in the morning is an event”. Then he would go somewhere and find someone to tell about Jesus. He was a great soul winner and a good example to follow.

Wherever you go today, make it an event.

Luke 14:23 And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.

God vs. FaceBook

May 23, 2019

Social media can be used to edify or destroy. Sometimes people look to Face Book, WeChat or other forms of communication for advice before they turn to the one who has the real answers.

This sign on a highway in Georgia says if all. Great advice.

Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Discouraged?

May 22, 2019

Billy Graham said, “Discouragement is the opposite of faith.” It is Satan’s device to thwart the work of God in our lives. Discouragement blinds our eyes to the mercy of God and makes us perceive only the unfavorable circumstances. You will never met a person who spent time in daily prayer, in the study of the Word of God, and who was strong in the faith who was ever discouraged for very long.

SOS Event Opportunity

May 21, 2019

All kinds of people come to an SOS Events booth. Some young, others old, boys, girls, men, women and even strange characters. Part of the excitement of volunteering to witness at an event is not knowing who God will send our way. God rewards our faithfulness and people are saved at events.

If you would like to join in the blessings, but have not because of fear, shyness or any other reason, we will train you to become the soul winner you would like to become. You would never work alone and would always have the moral support you need. Contact the home office today to get started. Email: info@sos events.org or call: 813-494-7512.

Proverbs 11:30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.

Be Ready

May 10, 2019

One woman and her husband accepted the Lord as their Savior. Before they left the booth, she told the soul winner that when she walked into the building she knew something good was going to happen, she could feel it. Then she gave the soul winner a hug.

The Holy Spirit will prepare a person’s heart to accept Him but if the soul winner isn’t prepared or willing to share then that person will either not accept the Lord that day or the Lord will find someone else that can share the good news with them.

Why not let that person be you, the one that shares?

2 Timothy 4:2 (KJV) says, Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.
