Someone once asked the question, “What is the greatest book you have ever read?”
For me, the answer is easy: the Bible—God’s Word.
There are thousands of wonderful books in the world. Some teach us, some entertain us, and some encourage us. But there is no other book like the Bible. It tells us how we can have salvation through Jesus Christ. It gives us comfort when we are hurting, joy when we are discouraged, wisdom when we need direction, and knowledge when we need answers.
Whatever we face in life, we can turn to God’s Word. It teaches us how to live, how to love others, how to forgive, how to pray, and most importantly, how to know Jesus as our Savior.
Books written by people may become outdated or be forgotten, but God’s Word never changes. Its truths are just as powerful today as they were when they were written.
If you are looking for answers today, open the greatest Book ever written. Read your Bible. God has something to say to you.
