God’s Word tells us how we can keep from sinning. The answer is to memorize verses in the Bible.
If you have trusted Jesus as your Savior your sins are forgiven. What a wonderful Bible promise.
1 John 1:7 – But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
You can be 100% sure you are going to heaven.
1) Admit you have sinned. Romans 3:23
2) Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 10:9
3) Call upon the Lord. Romans 10:13
Pray: Lord Jesus, I admit I am a sinner, I believe you died on the cross for forgiveness of my sins. I ask that you forgive my sins, come into my heart and make my life new. I receive you as my Savior. Thank you, Jesus. Amen
One policeman’s action has caused chaos in the USA right now. Violence, destruction, burning, looting. SIN.
One man’s action, Adam. His disobedience to God caused all mankind to be born in sin.
One man’s action, Jesus. Came into the world to die on the cross for the forgiveness of sin.
One man’s action. As Christians we are commanded to love one another and resist sin.
One man’s action. If you have never asked Jesus to forgive you and invite Him to be your Savior or will you continue in sin?
Each man, woman and child has a choice. What will your action be?
Romans 5:15
But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
If you do not have your sins forgiven, turn to Jesus for forgiveness. He died and rose again for you. Trust Him today.
Everyone who is saved has a different testimony. Some were saved as a small child through the influence of parents, grandparents or a godly Sunday School teacher or bus worker. They really do not know what it is like to be in the world as sinners and have the most time to serve the Lord.
Others lived a life of sin and came to know Jesus after they came to the end of their rope and felt hopeless and had no place to turn. Maybe a Christian handed them a Bible tract and witnessed to them, or they went into a mission for food and a warm bed, and still others met an SOS Events worker at an event. These people are so thankful to be out of a life of sin and many want to tell others of their wonderful Savior.
There is a group of people who lived a good life, went to church, tithed, were moral, and did not commit any terrible sin. This group is the hardest to reach for Christ because they think they are good enough to to get to Heaven, but they realized they needed to be saved.
Every category of Christian falls into one of these groups, all are sinners in need of a Savior. If you are saved you can be thankful for your salvation. This is the greatest blessing in your life no matter if you are rich or poor, male or female, young or old. Today join with us in thanking God for your salvation.
Ephesians 12-14 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
The Garden of Eden— where God put Adam and Eve to enjoy the pleasure of life and commune with Him….Until the devil tempted Adam and Eve and SIN entered into the lives of all mankind. From that moment on “all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” That gave mankind no hope of going to Heaven without some payment for sin.
The Garden of Gethsemane— where JESUS went to pray. 3 times He asked His Father to remove the cup of wrath He was about to drink, but each time He submitted to the Father’s will. He was “exceedingly sorrowful unto death,” In this garden Jesus surrendered his earthly life to die on the cross for the sins of mankind. Jesus sacrifice was payment for our sin if we accept Him as our Savior.
JESUS is God.
John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
Romans’ 10:9 – That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
A mouse is small and some people even think they are cute, however, if they find a way to get into the house they cause damage. They chew holes in fabric, get into food and can cause disease. They are smart. Set traps and they find a way to get around the trap. The only way to get rid of of this little creature is to find the place they enter, block the hole and then use poison to kill it. Not a pleasant experience, but very necessary to protect your home from damage.
Sin is like this small mouse. Sin finds a way to get into our lives using a small temptation. If left without getting rid of it, sin gets bigger and harder to get rid of. It damages our lives. Relationships are hurt, and our fellowship with God is ruined. The only way to get rid of sin is to block the source by confessing it and then kill it by repentance and asking Jesus to forgive. Then be diligent to not allow that sin to enter into our lives again.
Acts 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;
1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
