October 22, 2018The results of this weekend and recent events are pouring into the home office of all the people who made decisions at SOS Events booths in several States. A special thank you to all the volunteers who give of their time. Many work several days or weekends in a row, giving up time with family and friends to witness for the Lord. This is the busiest season for SOS Events and these faithful volunteers work tirelessly to see people get saved. Please pray for these workers. The season for many events still has a few weeks to go.
Galatians 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

God Answers Prayer
October 11, 2018Hurricane Michael has passed Florida and as the path continues through several East Coast states, it has downgraded. Still a lot of wind and rain. Property damage, loss of electricity and many fallen trees, along with damaged roads and many people without homes or material goods BUT no reports of loss of life. God answered prayer. Praise the Lord. Please continue to pray for those who have suffered material loss.
Psalms 143:1 Hear my prayer, O Lord, give ear to my supplications: in thy faithfulness answer me, and in thy righteousness.

God Wants To Work In Your Life
September 26, 2018Do you want to see God Work in your life? He will if we do what He commands. Want wisdom? Go soul winning. Want joy? Be filled with the Spirit. Want healing? Pray. There are many more promises in the Bible, many of them have something for us to do. Search the scriptures for the answer.

5 Ways To Get Rid Of Your Preacher
September 23, 20181. Sit up front, smile, and say “Amen” every time he says something good. He will preach himself to death.
2. Pat him on the back and tell him what good work he is doing in the church and the community. He will work himself to death.
3. Increase your offering to the church. He will suffer from shock.
4. Tell him you have decided to join the visitation group and help win souls for the Lord. He will probably suffer a heart attack.
5. Get the whole church to band together to pray for him. He will get so if efficient that some other church will hear about him and give him a call. That will take him off your hands.

Horatio Spafford had a nice life in the Chicago suburbs with his wife and five children and always welcomed guests in their home. Then in 1870, his 4-year-old died of scarlet fever, and in 1871 the Great Chicago Fire destroyed most of his investments (which were in Chicago real estate).
In 1873, the family wanted to sail to Europe for much-needed time away from their tragedy and to help in a revival, but on the day of departure, Horatio had a last-minute business emergency. He sent the family on ahead and planned to follow on another ship in a few days. But their ship was struck by another ship and sank in 12 minutes—the remainder of his four children died and only his wife was saved and brought to England. He immediately set sail to be with his wife, and as his ship passed the place where his daughters drowned, he penned It Is Well, and music was composed to accompany it in 1876.
