“Jesus made everything so simple and we have made it so complicated. He spoke to the people in short sentences and everyday words, illustrating His messages with never-to-be forgotten stories.”Billy Graham
SOS Events method of winning people to The Lord follow the simple way that Jesus used to bring people to salvation. The “3 Things God Can Not Do” is simple, short and easy to understand by people of all ages. Also, we go where the crowds gather, fairs, flea markets, yard sales, wherever there are people. It works. In 13 years over 40,000 decisions have been recorded. There is always room for more soul winners. You can learn this simple way and SOS can supply everything you need to get started. Jesus only goes where He is invited and, He only stays where He is welcome.
Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Most of the time it’s exciting to hear of the birth of a new baby. We shower them with love and kisses and take care of them, feed them and welcome them into our family. But there are babies born who are unwanted and unloved and not cared for properly. Children are a responsibility. New Christian converts are babes in Christ and should be loved and cared for, not left to themselves to grow in the Lord. They are our responsibility. This is why it is so important to follow up on people who have been saved. If you know a new Christian, take that responsibility seriously and invite them to church, Bible studies and teach them to follow the Lord. SOS Events Ministry tries to follow up with every new Christian that makes a decision by sending a Bible study to each one, and then the local church can visit and see them grow.
1 Peter 2:2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

This photo was taken yesterday just before Prayer Meeting in Appomattox, VA. What a beautiful reminder of God’s love and protection for us. His promises are true. He promised never to destroy the earth again with a flood, and though we see storms in local areas, He also promised that He would be with us through the storm and reminds us with a beautiful rainbow.
Genesis 9:16 And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.

Why are SOS leaders and volunteers so passionate about this ministry? Because of men, women and children…like Nikki.See this handwritten testimony of Nikki J., 12 years old? She accepted Christ at the SOS booth at the Trail of Tears event this past Sat in Waterloo, Al.
Will you join us in praying for her and the 36 others who made decisions for Christ at this event and for the SOS Leaders and Volunteers who “went” and shared the gospel?
Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

The cell phone rings and I can’t get to it fast enough. Voicemail from an unknown phone number shows up on the screen from another state. Listen to the message. Someone wants information about SOS Events Ministry from Tennessee. His church already does Events and wants to use the “3 Things God Can Not Do” to win souls. What a blessing. There is a small SOS Events team in Tennesee currently only less than two hours away from this church. Another opportunity to expand and see more souls won to Christ. God is blessing the Ministry once again without any promotion on our part. Praise the Lord.
1 Corinthians 3:6 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.

Going to church today? That is good, but do you have a close relationship with Jesus?
Matthew 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

Maybe you fear what people think of you… Not having enough money… Public speaking, flying, being far from home, or spiders… Failure or rejection… Losing a loved one… Disease or pain… Death…. Fear is mentioned in the KJV version of the Bible over 500 times. Over 100 of those verses say, Fear Not. Trusting in the Lord is the only way to overcome fear.
2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
