Saturday, some of the Florida SOS Events Team went to Riverview to the YMCA Camp Christina campus where several hundred back to school backpacks were distributed to children that are going back to school in just a few weeks. This event is a great opportunity to win people to the Lord as parents come with the children and whole families get to hear the gospel. 26 people received Jesus as their Savior. The team members not pictured were Tony and Carolyn.

Yesterday, people from these countries were reached with the gospel through this blog. When SOS Events Ministry was founded the goal was the USA, but God is doing more than we could think or ask. He wants to reach the world. Everyday various countries are listed in the stats. Please pray with us that many people from all over the world will be saved through SOS Events Ministry.

Two big events today, for SOS Events. Railroad Days Festival in Appomattox, VA and Harvest Hayride in Hamilton Square, NJ. Please pray for many souls to be saved. The weather is not expected to be good in both places as rain is forecast but God is in control.
We also ask for prayer for the east coast of the USA as hurricane Matthew is still pounding the coast. So many without electricity and now face flooding. Our prayers are for the safety of friends and family in this devistating storm.
Colossians 4:2 Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;

On Saturday, one of the greatest events of the summer season that benefit students will be held in Riverview, Florida. The goal is to distribute over 1000 backpacks. This event is a benefit to students that will be attending school this 2019 through 2020 school year. Many families cannot afford all the school supplies and the local YMCA collect backpacks to give out to the children. The big blessing is the parents have to bring them, and it is an opportunity for a SOS Events to witness to whole families. Please pray that many families will come to know the Lord this Saturday.

The final results for the SOS Events booth at the Genesee County Fair in New York was 47 salvation decisions. Families, teens, men and women from various walks of life have their lives changed when they come to an SOS Events booth at events. In this photo Frank is at the display board and Joanne is explaining the gospel to 4 teens. Please continue to pray for the new Christians that they will get into church and that they will do the Bible Studies they will receive from SOS Events Ministry.

This story may or may not be true, but it is something to think about. As Christians we must be careful how we treat others. Sometimes our attitude, especially at church can make a huge difference in another’s life. Are we friendly, kind and helpful to those who come to church? Do we make visitors feel welcome? If someone is alone do we offer to sit by them to make them feel more comfortable? Look around and see if you can be the difference in someone’s life at church today.
Ephesians 4:32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.
