A whimsical welcome to the last month of the year, December. A time in the busy holiday season to take time to look up to our Lord and Savior, Jesus. He is truly the secret to a wonderful life. (Let’s not keep Him a secret, tell someone about Him at every opportunity)

The day after Thanksgiving in the USA is called “Back Friday”. A day that merchants invented so that people will rush out to stores to shop. It is the busiest shopping day as almost all stores have huge sales. We always like a bargain, however, a word of caution, we spend money that we cannot afford for gifts that will be soon forgotten after Christmas. We need to be reminded as Christians to be good stewards of the resources that God has given us. So go out today and have fun shopping, but before you go, pray for wisdom about your purchases. God is interested in our finances.
Matthew 6:19-20
Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
The Bible says that we should give thanks in everything. Also, we should give thanks every day not just on Thanksgiving. Let us stop right now and thank God for at least one blessing. Sometimes it is hard if we are going through a trail in our lives, but there is always something to be thankful for, it may be something as small as being able to get out of bed. If you are reading this, YOU are who I am thankful for today. May God richly bless you.

T-Rex Ryan was saved at a recent event. Sometimes people dress in costume for an event to welcome people to the event. This young man came over to the SOS Events booth to get pictures with the workers and he was curious about the “3 Things God Can Not Do”. He was not 100% sure he was going to Heaven. When the ABC’s of salvation was explained he gladly trusted Jesus as his Savior.
John 20:31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.
Today is Veterans Day in the USA. A day to remember the brave men and women who fought so that we can live in freedom. Also, a special thanks to the people who are in the military today. We are free to choose our leaders, we are free to rear our children as we please, we are free to follow the path to any career we desire, and much more, because of the sacrifice of these men and women in the military. Most of all we are free to worship our Lord and Savior, Jesus, who gives us true spiritual freedom.
Philippians 1:3 I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,
God is with us wherever we go. He is omnipresent. Carolyn Curtis, cofounder of SOS Events Ministry is in Ohio on a trip, while her family and friends are scattered all over the world, from several States in the USA to South Korea, Ireland and beyond. God is watching and protecting each of them. We cannot be everywhere but He is. Praise the Lord!!!
