August 23, 2017Have you heard the expression “Be careful what you pray for”. God answers prayer specifically. Sometimes we ask for something small when He could have given you something more. This is an example that happened at an SOS Events booth recently. Nothing was happening. No one wanted to stop by to see the “3 Things God Can Not Do”. All through the event the soul winner prayed, “One, Lord, just give us one.” The event was about to end after 4 hours and one young man came over to check things out. He wanted to be saved and in just a few minutes he called upon Jesus to be his Savior. The event ended with JUST ONE! God wanted to show us something. Never again at an event will we pray for just one when God wants to see many people saved.
Matthew 21:22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
Confused?
August 15, 2017GOD is the author of peace. GOD is not the author of confusion. The answer is to draw close to God through Bible reading and prayer. Also, seek godly counsel from a trusted Christian, pastor or friend.
1 Corinthians 14:33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.
Time for a Tuneup
August 12, 2017It’s so exciting to get a new car. It runs perfectly and you want to tell everyone about it. Then after a few months it is time for a tuneup. Tires need rotating, oil needs changing and you stop telling people about your new car. Christianity like that. When we first get saved we are excited and want to tell everybody, but after a few months or years the excitement wears off and we no longer want to witness or tell others about the wonderful gift of salvation. Maybe we need a tuneup. Go back to the Bible and get recharged.

Priorities
July 28, 2017August has not even arrived and summer is almost over for some people. School starts soon for the southern states. Some as early as next week. Life seems to move to fast with work, home and responsibilities. In your busy life make sure you take time, first for God, then for family and if priorities are straight every thing else will fall into place.
Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Witnessing One on One
July 14, 2017There is a simple way to witness at the grocery store, work break, or anywhere you meet people. You do not need one of SOS Events Ministry display boards or any other tools to do it. In conversation just ask, “Do you know there are 3 Things God cannot do?” You will get different responses but continue by telling them, God cannot lie. Titus 1:2. The second thing is found in Malachi 3:6, God cannot change. John 3:3-5 tells us that God cannot let anyone in heaven unless they are born again then just asked a simple question, are you 50, 75, or 100% sure if you died a day and go to heaven? When they give you an answer that is not 100% proceed with the ABC’s of salvation.

Flea Markets
July 12, 2017Today in Florida SOS Events will be soul winning at the Plant City Flea Market as we do every Wednesday, weather permitting. That is 52 weeks of opportunity to see souls saved. Praise the Lord. There are hundreds if not thousands of Flea Markets in the USA and SOS Events has booths in Florida, a few in Alabama, New Jersey and New York. Thousands of people go to Flea markets every week. Most of them probably are not saved. Lost people and lost opportunities. You could be a witness in your area to win the lost. SOS Events will train you and help you get started. The laborers are few.
Luke 10:2 Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.
