Perfect Peace

It is easy for our minds to become filled with worries about tomorrow, our families, our health, or the many responsibilities we carry. The more we focus on our circumstances, the more anxious we become. But God gives us a better place to fix our thoughts—on Him.

This verse does not promise a life without problems. It promises perfect peace for those whose minds are stayed on the Lord. When we trust His wisdom, rest in His promises, and remember that He is always in control, our hearts can remain calm even when life is uncertain.

Today, when anxious thoughts begin to crowd your mind, pause and turn your thoughts back to God. Spend time in His Word, thank Him for His faithfulness, and trust Him with every concern. The God who holds the universe in His hands is more than able to hold your heart in perfect peace.


Heavenly Father, help me keep my mind fixed on You today. When worries come, remind me to trust Your promises and rest in Your care. Thank You for the perfect peace that only You can give. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The Power Of God’s Word!

There is something special about watching young people stop, listen, and truly consider what God has to say. Their expressions remind us that God’s Word still speaks to hearts today.

At the Perrysburg Car Show on Friday evening, Ed shared “The 3 Things God Cannot Do.” As the truth of the Gospel was presented, God once again worked in hearts. We rejoice that 12 people accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior!

Only God can change a heart. We are simply thankful to be His servants, faithfully planting and watering the seed, while He gives the increase.

Please continue to pray for these new believers—that they will grow in their faith, study God’s Word, and become part of a Bible-believing church where they can mature in Christ.

May we never underestimate the power of sharing God’s Word. God always comes through when His truth is faithfully proclaimed.

“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

God Is Faithful in the Little Things

Sometimes we think God is only interested in the great crises of life—the serious illness, the financial burden, or the difficult family situation. We faithfully bring those burdens to Him, and rightly so. But what about the little things?

Have you ever prayed for a parking place when you were running late, or asked the Lord to have someone call because they were on your heart? Then, when it happened, did you wonder, “Was that just a coincidence?”

As God’s children, we should remember that there are no coincidences with the Lord. He is a loving Heavenly Father who cares about every detail of our lives. If something matters to us, it matters to Him. He delights in hearing His children pray, whether the request seems great or small.

The little answers to prayer strengthen our faith for the bigger challenges that will surely come. They remind us that God is always listening, always working, and always faithful. When we recognize His hand in the small blessings, our hearts become filled with gratitude, and our confidence in Him grows.

Today, don’t overlook the “little” ways God shows His love. Thank Him for every answered prayer, no matter how small it may seem. Those little reminders are often God’s gentle way of saying, “I’m here, and I care about every part of your life.”

When Weary Comes Calling

There are days when we become weary. Sometimes it is physical. Our bodies simply grow tired from the demands of life. Other times it is mental. Worries, decisions, and responsibilities can leave us exhausted. Then there is spiritual weariness, when we feel discouraged, defeated, or wonder if our labor for the Lord is making a difference.

The wonderful news is that God understands every kind of weariness, and He has already provided the answer in His Word.

The Lord invites us to come to Him:

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
Matthew 11:28 (KJV)

Notice that Jesus does not say we will never become weary. Instead, He promises rest when we come to Him. We find renewed strength through prayer, reading His Word, and trusting Him with every burden we carry.

If you are physically tired, ask God for the strength you need today. If your mind is filled with worry, remember that He is in control. If you are spiritually weary, do not quit. Keep serving, keep praying, and keep trusting the One who never grows weary.

Today, whatever kind of weariness you are experiencing, take it to the Lord. His strength is always greater than our weakness, and His promises never fail.

What Is True Love?

 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:16

What do you think of when you hear the word love? You may think of your spouse, your children.

We use the word love about material things. “ I love my house”

What is true love? The best example is found in the familiar verse, John 3:16. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

God’s love is the greatest love we can experience. He sent His Son, Jesus, to die on the cross to pay the penalty for our sin. 

Because of His great love we can have eternal life.

Pray for Those Who Visit Our Website

This week we were amazed to learn that people from 53 different countries visited our blog. What an incredible reminder that God can use even a simple website to reach people around the world with the message of His love.

Every visitor represents a person with a soul that will spend eternity somewhere. Some may be searching for answers. Some may be carrying burdens and heartaches. Others may have never heard a clear presentation of the Gospel. Yet God, in His providence, allowed them to visit our website and read about His wonderful gift of salvation.

The greatest expression of God’s love was demonstrated when He sent His Son, Jesus, to die on the cross for our sins. Through His death, burial, and resurrection, the way has been made for all people to be forgiven and receive eternal life.

Today, let us pray for those who visit the website. Pray that the Holy Spirit will speak to their hearts as they read. Pray that those who do not know Jesus as their Savior will understand the Gospel and place their faith in Him. Pray that believers will be encouraged, strengthened, and drawn closer to the Lord.

We may never meet many of these visitors on this side of heaven, but God knows each one by name. What a joy it would be to one day meet people in heaven who came to know Christ because they visited a website, read a blog, or were touched by a message that pointed them to Jesus.

Let us continue to faithfully share the Good News and trust God to use it for His glory around the world.

Create In Me A Clean Heart!

When we clean our homes, we often find ourselves getting rid of things we have accumulated over the years. Sometimes that can be difficult because those items hold sentimental value. Yet we realize that keeping them means one more thing to dust, store, or take care of.

Spiritually, the same thing can happen in our hearts. We may hold on to attitudes, habits, hurts, grudges, fears, or sins that are not pleasing to the Lord. We become accustomed to carrying them, even though they weigh us down and hinder our fellowship with God.

A clean house can make us feel refreshed, but a clean heart is far more important. David understood this when he prayed, “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.” (Psalm 51:10 KJV)

Today, let us ask the Lord to search our hearts and help us remove anything that does not honor Him. As we surrender those things to Him, He can renew our spirit and restore the joy of walking closely with Him.

A Tribute To Fathers

Father’s Day is a special time to honor the men who have influenced our lives through love, sacrifice, wisdom, and faith. Whether they are fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, or spiritual fathers, these men leave a lasting impact on their families and communities.

A good father does much more than provide for his family. He teaches by example. He shows his children how to work hard, how to treat others with kindness and respect, and most importantly, how to trust God through both the joys and challenges of life. Many of us can look back and remember a father’s encouraging words, his quiet strength, and the sacrifices he made that often went unnoticed.

The Bible places great value on the role of a father. Proverbs 20:7 says, “The just man walketh in his integrity: his children are blessed after him.” (KJV) A father’s greatest legacy is not wealth or possessions, but a life of integrity and faithfulness to God.

Today, we want to wish a Happy Father’s Day to all fathers, grandfathers, family members, friends, volunteers, pastors, and supporters who faithfully lead, serve, and love those around them. Thank you for your example, your prayers, and your commitment to your families.

To those whose fathers are now in Heaven, may this day bring precious memories and gratitude for the influence they had on your life.

May God richly bless all fathers today and strengthen them as they continue to make a difference for His glory.

God Continues to Bless in Perrysburg, Ohio

We are praising the Lord for another wonderful Friday night at the Perrysburg, Ohio car show! Through the faithful efforts of our SOS Events team, 20 people trusted Jesus Christ as their Savior during this week’s outreach.

What a blessing it is to see people of all ages stopping to hear the Gospel and making decisions for Christ. Every salvation represents a life changed for eternity and a family touched by the love and grace of God.

A special thank you goes to Ed and Rhonda Fager, our dedicated Ohio Team Leaders, who faithfully lead the ministry efforts each week. Their commitment, along with the many volunteers who serve alongside them, continues to make an eternal difference in the lives of those they meet.

With these 20 salvations, the Perrysburg team has now seen a total of 71 people trust Christ as Savior so far this year. We rejoice in what God has done and look forward to what He will continue to do in the weeks ahead.

Please continue to pray for Ed and Rhonda, the Ohio team, and all those who have recently accepted Christ. May they grow in their faith and become strong disciples for the Lord.
