Several trainings have taken place in Florida preparing for the annual Strawberry Festival. It is a blessing to see many people come to learn how to present the “3 Things God Can Not Do” this is a picture of a couple practicing at a recent training. It is our responsibility to teach others how to be witnesses for Jesus Christ.
1 Timothy 4:11 These things command and teach.
Today, is Presidents’ Day in the USA. No matter what our political affiliation is, wherever we live or how we feel about our leaders in government, the Bible is very clear on what we need to do for those in authority. It is our responsibility to pray for them. If every Christian would pray for the President , Vice President, Congress, Governor and local leaders we would be doing what the Lord expects us to do. So the challenge today is to take just a few moments and pray for our leaders. There are many people from other countries that read this blog, and you also need to pray for your political leaders.
1 Timothy 2:1&2 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

Do you ever get tired of watching the news on TV or social media? There never seems to be any good news, only news of wars, violence and scandals. As Christians it’s our responsibility to get out the good news to everyone that we can. The good news is the gospel, that Jesus Came into the world, died on the cross and rose again. His blood cleanses us from all our sin if we accept Him as our Savior. We can tell people that we meet, we can hand out tracts, we could invite them to a Bible study in our home or invite them to church. The important thing is that we do something to get out that good news.
Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

I have taken just about every soul winning course that’s been available in the last 50 years, but SOS is one of the easiest and non-offensive evangelism ministries I’ve been a part of.

Hopefully, you are not tired of seeing blogs about Love. Just one more… God’s love is a pure love that can never fail us. His love is beyond our comprehension. Our spouses, children and friends who we love can disappoint us but God will never leave us or forsake us. The measure of his love is that He sent Jesus to die in our place for all the sins that we have committed. What a great God we have!!!!!
