“Keep your face always toward the sunshine – and shadows will fall behind you.” Walt Whitman
There is a beautiful song…Turn your eyes upon Jesus, look full into His wonderful face and the things of earth will grow strangely dim in the light of His glory and grace.
In these troubled times, we need to look to Jesus.
“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:2
Many of us have to stay in during the month of April. This is a time that we can use to make us blossom! We can draw closer to God by reading the Bible more. We can encourage others with a phone call or note. We can have time to work on a hobby. Some people are using this time for doing projects around the house.
Take this time to look up to better things to come.
“Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.” Psalms 16:11, KJV
Rejoice it’s a something that many of us do not feel right now, however, God tells us to Praise Him in all things. Today the challenge is to Praise the Lord. We have so many blessings. Let’s focus on them.
We have a Savior who loves us no matter what. He will take care of us. We think the worst thing could happen is that we get sick and die. If we are His child what is the threat? Heaven. Think about it.
Many people are being healed of the Coronavirus. Our news media is so focused on the amount of cases and deaths that we are not hearing about the people that have been healed.
For those of us who are Christians, we need to focus on God‘s healing power. If you are reading this and you are not a Christian, today is the time you need to ask Jesus to be your Savior.
Please pray for a Leader of SOS Events Ministry as he goes into the hospital today for a biopsy to check for cancer. It is not a good time to be in the hospital because of the coronavirus.
Scott is not the only person in hospitals now. Many people are being treated not only for the virus but many other diseases and emergencies. God’s word tells us to pray for the sick and they will be healed. Let us pray for all those we know who are ill, but also that He will heal the land of this pandemic.
James 5:15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
God has directed that every day an encouraging Bible verse should be posted on SOS Events website. People all over the world need encouragement from God’s Word at this time of fear and uncertainty.
All of SOS Events events have been cancelled or postponed so this is how people are being drawn to Jesus, though the blog. Pray more people will read it, and realize that Jesus is the answer.
