Today in Michigan a SOS Events team will be at an event witnessing to people. This is a new event, and a new team. This is a 3 day event and many of the team members are witnessing at an event for the first time.
They need prayer for wisdom and fullness of the Holy Spirit. Also, pray for people to come to the booth and be saved.
Praise the Lord that 17 people made decisions to follow Jesus at the Plant City, Florida Flea Market yesterday.
The volunteers for SOS Events ministry were there. Faithful in the extreme heat that was 90 degrees by noon.
God blessed their efforts and drew 17 people to the booth to hear the gospel and be saved.
Please pray for the new Christians that they will get into a good church and grow in their new found faith.
Also, pray for the SOS Events volunteers not only In Florida, but throughout the USA.
And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. John 12:32
Today is the birthday of Carolyn Curtis, cofounder of SOS Events Ministry. But this is not the most important birthday in her life.
Her second birthday is much more significant. That is the day she asked Jesus to forgive her sin, and accepted Him as her Savior.
She realized that Jesus died on the cross was buried, and was resurrected. He paid the penalty for her sins.
Since that day over 60 years ago, Jesus has been with her, guided her paths and has brought true joy into her life through the good times and the hard times.
The best gift she ever received was being born again.
You can have this wonderful gift also. Salvation is given freely to all who believe and invite Jesus to be their Savior. You must have 2 birthdays to have a life of peace and joy and assurance of Heaven.
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. John3:3
John 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
Memorial Day weekend we honor our brave military who gave their lives and active men and women who serve our Country to keep us free. But today, the Lord’s day, let us remember Jesus death, burial and resurrection. We have freedom of eternal life because of Him. We have victory over death which is ultimate freedom.
SOS Events volunteers go to a local Flea Market each Wednesday. In the month of May a total of 34 people invited Jesus to be their Savior.
It takes a lot of planning and sacrifice to go every week to this event. The weather is a factor, also. Throughout the summer temperatures in Florida are in the 90 degrees.
SOS Events Ministry is blessed to have faithful volunteers who do not let anything distract them from winning people to the Lord.
Let us follow their example and be busy telling others about Jesus death, burial and resurrection. Jesus is the only way to eternal life.
John 17:3 – And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
