Jesus, Jesus, Jesus; there’s just something about that name. Master, Savior, Jesus, like the fragrance after the rain; Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, let all Heaven and earth proclaim Kings and kingdoms will all pass away, But there’s something about that name. Kings and kingdoms will all pass away, But there’s something about that name. Bill and Gloria Gaither
This is a song written by the Gaithers. What beautiful lyrics and so true. Kingdoms will pass away, but Jesus reigns forever.
That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:10-11
On Saturday 26 people made a decision to accept Jesus as their Savior. It was so busy at the Turkey Creek Food Distribution that several people were witnessed to before the event got started.
Once a month, SOS Event volunteers go to this event to tell people about Jesus, His death, burial and resurrection.
The majority of the souls saved at this event are Spanish. SOS Events need bilingual people to volunteer. We are so thankful for the team members who speak Spanish and are willing to go.
And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled. Luke 14:23
Hebrews 9:28 – So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
The time is short. If you are not 100% sure you are going to heaven when Jesus comes back, please admit your sin, believe that Jesus was crucified, buried and rose again, that the shedding of His blood cleanses from sin and invite Him to be your Savior.
SOS Events Ministry enjoyed the day Saturday at the Watermelon Festival at Ashland Park.
We had the honor of presenting the 3 Things God Cannot Do board with 241 people and gave out 250 tracts.
We had some really wonderful conversations and were able to help relieve the burdens so many were carrying and they now know they’re 100% sure they are going to Heaven when they die and will be followed up with Bible study.
I also was able to share the Gospel with a beautiful young lady who was amazed when she heard about the birth death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Her eyes were wide with wonder and she was in awe of how He died for her too. She received her 1st Bible and was prayed over to have her heart opened and soul breathed life into by the living word of God. It was such a beautiful experience and I am so greatful to be able to be a part of this life saving ministry.

Romans 10:14 – How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
God blessed the Back to School Event at Fellowship Baptist Church in Thononosassa, Florida on Sunday with 30 decisions. 28 salvations and 2 children who needed assurance.
It was a family team with SOS Events. Carolyn Curtis with daughters Stephanie and Graceanne (taking the photo) were the volunteers. It is wonderful to see a family serving the Lord together. The Lord blessed and all the Praise is given to Him.
I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works. Psalm 9:1
Many people, even Christians, are fearful. Illness, natural disasters, family problems and finances are all things that cause us to fear.
But God is real. He tells us to fear not. It is a matter of faith and trust. Faith comes by hearing and hearing is the Word of God.
We need to read the Bible everyday and meditate on what God tells us. Pray and tell Jesus our fears and concerns. Find fellowship with other believers. Listen to Pastors and teachers who present the truth.
Fear and confusion are not from God. Confess our fear to Him and He will bring peace.
