Jesus is Coming
September 21, 2018It Is Well
September 20, 2018Do you have peace in time of heartache and trouble? Is it well with your soul? May this story of a great hymn bring you comfort and peace.
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ
Horatio Spafford had a nice life in the Chicago suburbs with his wife and five children and always welcomed guests in their home. Then in 1870, his 4-year-old died of scarlet fever, and in 1871 the Great Chicago Fire destroyed most of his investments (which were in Chicago real estate).
In 1873, the family wanted to sail to Europe for much-needed time away from their tragedy and to help in a revival, but on the day of departure, Horatio had a last-minute business emergency. He sent the family on ahead and planned to follow on another ship in a few days. But their ship was struck by another ship and sank in 12 minutes—the remainder of his four children died and only his wife was saved and brought to England. He immediately set sail to be with his wife, and as his ship passed the place where his daughters drowned, he penned It Is Well, and music was composed to accompany it in 1876.
It Is Well With My Soul
When peace like a river, attendeth my way,
When sorrows like sea billows roll
Whatever my lot, thou hast taught me to say
It is well, it is well, with my soul
It is well
With my soul
It is well, it is well with my soul
Though Satan should buffet, though trials should come,
Let this blest assurance control,
That Christ has regarded my helpless estate,
And hath shed His own blood for my soul
It is well (it is well)
With my soul (with my soul)
It is well, it is well with my soul
My sin, oh, the bliss of this glorious thought
My sin, not in part but the whole,
Is nailed to the cross, and I bear it no more,
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, o my soul
It is well (it is well)
With my soul (with my soul)
It is well, it is well with my soul
It is well (it is well)
With my soul (with my soul)
It is well, it is well with my soul
President Trump
September 18, 2018SOS Events Ministry is careful not to express political views, however, as Christians no matter how we vote, we have a responsibility to pray for our leaders of our Country. We are to respect those who are in authority and be thankful that we have a President who honors God. So today, if you agree or disagree with President Trump, pray for him and the other men and women in office.
I Timothy 1&2 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

Pray for Your Pastor
September 16, 2018Your Pastor has many responsibilities. He usually is a husband, father, maybe a grandfather and he also has his church family to oversee and Shepard. He needs to be filled with the Holy Spirit so that he can fulfill all his responsibilities. On Sunday morning especially you can help your Pastor by praying for him and by not going to him before service with problems or questions (unless it is an emergency). Show your Pastor and his family love and respect, God has called him to serve you.
Hebrews 13:7 Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.

Are You In Love?
September 14, 2018“Christianity is a love relationship between a child of God and his Maker through the Son Jesus Christ and in the power of the Holy Spirit.” Adrian Rogers
A true Christian is in love with Jesus and has a personal relationship with Him.
1 John 4:16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
What Have You Done With Jesus?
September 13, 2018That is a question that each person has to decide for themselves. God has given us free will to choose. Believe that Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection as atonement for sin or reject Him. It is the difference between spending eternity in Heaven or Hell. It is a simple choice. If you think you will wait and decide later, that is a choice. We are not guaranteed another opportunity, life is uncertain. Accidents, ill health and death can happen and we may not have time to accept Jesus later. What have you done with Jesus?
Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

SOS EVENTS MINISTRY
September 10, 2018
SOS Events Ministry goes into the local community and shares the gospel, shares how to have Eternal Life, how to overcome the adversaries lies, and how to be free from bondage. Very Simple!!!!
Lost people DO NOT want or desire to come to the “church building”. Most if not all of our creation is SICK of organized religion. They DO like to go to festivals, rallies, fairs, car shows, and pretty much any event…. that last word was a clue to the success of this ministry. This ministry goes to the people where they gather. This ministry brings hundreds to Gods Kingdom every week. YES, hundreds every week, over 70,000 so far and counting!!!!!!
You wanna build the Kingdom or build your church building?
If you want to do some serious Kingdom Building, go to the contact page on the website http://www.sosevents.org with your information and request for training.
(Thank you Fred Slatter for this description of SOS Events Ministry)
Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
Half Empty or Half Full?
September 4, 2018
Attitude!! Do you look at situations in your life and rejoice? Your glass is half full. Or do you look and say “Oh, no. My glass is half empty.” If you have a positive look you see blessings of a glass half full. Negativity or a half empty glass outlook has no place in a Christian’s life. The Bible tells us to rejoice! Our attitude affect those around us. Example: ” You look great today.” Or “You look tired today.” How does that affect the person you are talking to? It may mean the difference in that person’s day. Let us be careful to be an encourager not a discourager.
Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
Saved or Lost?
August 30, 2018If you are trusting in good works, church membership, money or success, you are LOST! The only way to be saved is to trust in, rely upon the only person who can forgive your sins, that Person is JESUS. He came to earth for one purpose, to seek and to save those who are lost.
If you have never accepted Jesus as your LORD and SAVIOR, now is the time to be saved. At the end of our life there is only one question to be answered, Are you saved or lost?
Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
