Two people were saved. Notice the tracts on the table. Family, friends and anyone we meet will usually listen to the Gospel message when we simply ask, “Do you know the 3 Things God Can Not Do.”

A Little Spark

SOS Events has a booth at many events. Recently the home office received requests for a display board from Louisiana and North Carolina. There are no SOS Events teams in either State. When asked how they heard of SOS Events, both said they picked up a tract at an event where they were visiting. These two new places may start a huge team effort to win souls where previously there was no witness at events. Pray the Holy Spirit will cause a “big spiritual fire” from the “little spark”, which was the tract handed out at an event. We never know what one little thing will cause big things to happen.
Galatians 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

Do you shop on Amazon? Maybe for Christmas, birthdays or even things for yourself. You can support SOS Events without cost to you. Amazon donates a small portion of your purchase to non profit organizations. To designate SOS Events, go to Amazon Smile. Then choose Event Evangelism, Inc (our legal name). Make sure all your purchases are on the Smile page and that’s it. SOS Events will receive the funds a few times a year. Also, a reminder, another way to give as the end of the year is fast approaching and if you would like a tax deduction for donations, SOS Events would use your gift for soul winning. October 17, 2018SOS Events motto is “A life saving ministry.” Our goal is to tell people of their need of a Savior, Jesus, and to lead them from spiritual death into eternal life. Events are the place where we witness. At large events like NASCAR races and Strawberry Festival and small events like Fall Festivals in churchyards. God has blessed and many people are saved each week through this ministry. You can be a part by volunteering, praying and giving. SOS Events needs you!

Octoberfest in Alabama
October 15, 2018We all had a wonderful time Saturday at the Octoberfest under the tent with SOS Events Ministry. We had 30 decisions and all had many opportunities to share in very special moments as lives were changed. We spoke with 395 people at the board and gave out 450 tracts . Special thank you to all the volunteers Serving Our Savior.

This is a wonderful photo of one of SOS Events Workers at an event. The compassion for this little girl on his face as he explains the “3 Things God Can Not Do” is worth 1000 words. The little girl’s concentration as she listens to him is self explanatory. At every event that SOS Events participants in our volunteers are explaining the gospel to boys, girls, men and women of all ages. God gives the increase. Every weekend in October there are multiple events and we covet your prayers for SOS Events Workers and the people who stop and listen to be saved. (Note: all children must have parents permission to go back to the soul winning table)

Heavenly or Earthly Minded?
October 12, 2018There is an old expression, “You are so heavenly minded you are no earthly good.” I would like to switch it to “You are so earthly minded you are no heavenly good.” Have the things of the world choked out your desire to serve the Lord? Jesus came to seek and to save those who are lost. What are you doing to win souls to Christ? SOS Events Ministry needs YOU. if you are physically able to go to an event to witness for 3 to 4 hours, you can volunteer to work an event. If you are not able to volunteer you could support others who go by giving financially. Unable to do either of those then the most important need is prayer. Please pray for those who go and for the people who need salvation. You will be blessed as you focus on the things that is most important on God’s mind.
Luke 19:10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
