All set up at the Orleans County 4-H fair! Monday through Saturday come on out and see “3 things God cannot do”. Praying for many souls to be saved!
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9
Fair weather cometh out of the north: with God is terrible majesty. Job 37:22
Please pray for good weather today and on the weekend.
Weather has a lot to do with events for SOS Events ministry. Many times events are canceled because of poor weather. This has happened over the past few weeks in Perrysburg, Ohio where the SOS Events Team is ready and willing to go to the Friday night Car Show. Then the rains come and the Car Show is canceled. Please pray for no rain today in Ohio and souls to be saved.
Many other events take place in various parts of the USA every week. Please pray that there are no cancellations and every event has good weather.
Today thinking about the different seasons for SOS Events Ministry.
Spring is almost over and we will move into the Summer months when it get hotter in most areas of the USA.
Good news for the North, and middle tastes.
In Florida, Alabama, Texas and the Southern States it is almost too hot for many events to take place.
Fairs, Festival and Community Events are happening everywhere else.
Autumn is busy for all areas for SOS EVENTS. that is usually the busiest months.
When winter comes around, it is the exact opposite of summer. The States that are extremely cold do not hold events while the warmer climate events are everywhere.
The main thing is that SOS Events needs your prayers all year round.
Volunteers are sometimes stressed by weather conditions.
Events attendance depends on crowds to be successful.
Sometimes even finances are affected by weather conditions.
SOS Events Ministry has many Pastors who pray and support the ministry. Praying today that as they preach they will have Holy Spirt Power, souls will be saved and Christian’s will be convicted to get busy and be witnesses.
Today as I pray for all the churches and pastors that I know, I am especially thankful for the churches that support SOS Events Ministry financially.
Two of them have supported SOS for years, since the ministry began. The other 8 have been added in recent years.
Today we are so thankful for each of them and pray for continued growth and prosperity for every church.
Many other churches support in different ways. Providing places to hold events, allowing SOS leaders to use rooms to do training, announcing events and encouraging the congregation to get involved with SOS Events and participating in events.
Thank God for all these churches and through them thousands of people have been saved.
This verse can become your prayer for yourself each day.
We want to please the LORD in everything we do and say. The problem is we cannot please Him unless He helps us.
Our words comes from our heart the Bible says “But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man” (Matthew 15:18)
James 3:11 tells us that we speak both sweet and bitter words. So, how can we please God when in ourselves we cannot control what and how we speak?
The key is in the verse in Psalms, our words comes from our heart. We need to have a pure heart.
If we have a problem with harsh words, cursing, gossiping, yelling or lying, all sins that does not please God, we need to confess that sin, ask Jesus for a heart that is pure. Meditate on His Word, ask Him to help us when we fail. Jesus is our strength and our redeemer!
Do you trust God for the big things? But when the little things are present, you think that it’s just coincidence or that He doesn’t care.
Do you think that praying for a parking place, or to help you find the color of some new furniture, or that you would receive a phone call from a particular person are all too small for God?
No, God cares for all of these things in your life. If you’re trusting in him, totally, he will supply every need and even our wants no matter how small they are.
How do you make a sandwich? Make preparations by getting the ingredients together.
First you have to choose the bread. White, whole wheat, rye or some other kind.
Then the filling. Roast beef, chicken, tuna, peanut butter or whatever you like in a sandwich. Maybe you prefer something spicy or hot.
Then you top it with mayo, mustard, ketchup or something to make it taste good. Put the other piece of bread and it is finished.
Do you know how to make a spiritual sandwich?
Make preparations by praying about the situation.
Maybe you have a family member, coworker or friend that you need to reprimand for something they are doing that is wrong or not pleasing to God.
Make a sandwich. First choose something that the person you need to correct has done right. Compliment them for the good thing they have done.
Then the meat or filling. Tell them what they need to do to correct the error of their ways.
Top it with LOVE. Love makes whatever is unpleasant go down smoothly.
Put the top on it with something positive and encouraging.
Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him;Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins. James 5:19 & 20
