Praise the Lord for His faithfulness. Bringing people to the SOS Events booth to hear the gospel and be saved.
387 people, made decisions at the Strawberry Festival this year. Hallelujah what a Savior!
Thank everyone who made this possible. The volunteers, decorators, office staff and others who worked long hours. Thanks also, for the parking places so the volunteers did not have to pay for parking.
What a great event! Now on to more opportunities to tell others about the love of Jesus.
O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Psalms 95:1
Jim and Terry Bracelin work with Silent Word Ministries. Several years ago they were given a SOS Events display board to use in their ministry.
This is a photo of the Deaf Expo at RIT Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester New York. Seven deaf were saved. The deaf love the SOS Events display board because they relate to things that are visual.
It is amazing how God uses the SOS Events Ministry in many other ministries. To God be the Glory for the souls that are saved.
Please pray for people to be saved in the many other places that use the SOS Events display board. We do not know the results but God is using what He gave to us to share the Good News.
How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? Romans 10:14
This Bible verse is one that can get you through all kinds of trials.
The secret is in the word Will. We will rejoice. It is a decision. Decide to rejoice no matter what!
If you are depressed, sick, have a burden, find one thing that the Lord has done and rejoice in that. It may be a simple as seeing a butterfly or hearing bird calls in the morning. A beautiful sunrise or sunset, whatever you can find to thank the Lord for will bring you comfort in any situation.
You will be surprised that soon your problem will seem small when compared to what God has done. He loves you and wants to comfort you. Choose to rejoice today!
There is something special about old hymns. This one has the whole gospel in one song. Jesus died, was buried, rose again and will return. He did that all for you and me.
One day when heaven was filled with His praises, One day when sin was as black as could be, Jesus came forth to be born of a virgin— Dwelt among men, my example is He! Living, He loved me; dying, He saved me;
Refrain: Buried, He carried my sins far away; Rising, He justified freely forever: One day He’s coming—O glorious day!
One day they led Him up Calvary’s mountain, One day they nailed Him to die on the tree; Suffering anguish, despised and rejected; Bearing our sins, my Redeemer is He.
One day they left Him alone in the garden, One day He rested, from suffering free; Angels came down o’er His tomb to keep vigil; Hope of the hopeless, my Savior is He.
One day the grave could conceal Him no longer, One day the stone rolled away from the door; Then He arose, over death He had conquered; Now is ascended, my Lord evermore.
One day the trumpet will sound for His coming, One day the skies with His glory will shine; Wonderful day, my beloved ones bringing; Glorious Savior, this Jesus is mine!
We are free from sin, justified and we will be with Him and our loved ones again! Glorious Day!
In the past few months, Carolyn Curtis, cofounder of SOS Events Ministry has had many opportunities to speak at churches, organizations and to individuals giving her testimony and telling others how they can witness to people using the “3 Things God Can Not Do”.
God has blessed with new volunteers, new supporters and more importantly people learning how to witness. All the praise belongs to the Lord for these opportunities.
I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together. Psalms 34:1-3
