October 11, 2018Hurricane Michael has passed Florida and as the path continues through several East Coast states, it has downgraded. Still a lot of wind and rain. Property damage, loss of electricity and many fallen trees, along with damaged roads and many people without homes or material goods BUT no reports of loss of life. God answered prayer. Praise the Lord. Please continue to pray for those who have suffered material loss.
Psalms 143:1 Hear my prayer, O Lord, give ear to my supplications: in thy faithfulness answer me, and in thy righteousness.
Watermelon Festival

August 17th and 18th was a great weekend for Ronnie Burlison, Team Leader in Alabama. SOS Events Team had a booth at the annual Franklin County Watermelon Festival. There were 115 decisions to follow Jesus. 86 Salvations and 29 assurances of salvation. What a wonderful event. Ronnie also reported that many Christians want to be trained to help in future events. All the Praise goes to the Lord. He saves and works on hearts of unbelievers and well as believers.

Are You Glorifying God?

Our body should glorify God in three ways, PRAYER, POWER and PRAISE. Prayer without ceasing, power to win souls and praising God continually. Again the question, Are you glorifying God?
1 Corinthians 6:20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
Decisions, Decisions!

On the 4th of July, SOS Events in Florida had two events. In the top picture there is a group of people being witnessed to by volunteers at the Plant City Flea Market where 28 decisions were recorded. Then another team of SOS Events volunteers went to the fireworks and 4 more people asked Jesus to be their Savior including these sweet girls. God is blessing the ministry with souls and all the glory goes to Him.

SOS Events Office Staff

On Sunday David, who makes all our displays and is a vital part of SOS Events, left to go up North for the summer. As a thank you to Him, the office staff went to lunch at a local Mexican restaurant. Diana, Office Manager, Alice, Communication Director and Carolyn, Founder wishes David well until he returns in the fall. We are so blessed to have faithful people who keep SOS Events running smoothly.

Alabama Yard Sale Decisions
April 16, 201825 made decisions for Christ at Eastmont’s yard sale Saturday. 15 salvations and 10 recommitments to Christ. Praise the Lord with us for a mighty move of His Holy Spirit.
