John 14:2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
God’s Promise
May 18, 2016Well Done
May 17, 2016As family and friends gather to celebrate the home going of Thomas Curtis and reminisce how he influenced their lives, I am reminded how important it is to be a witness for the Lord.
The testimonies of the lives that Tom touched reminds us that the only thing we can take to Heaven are the people we lead to the Lord. As Tom met Jesus face to face I am sure Jesus told him, “Well done thy good and faithful servant.”
The last day he was in the hospital, Tom led 3 people to the Lord and witnessed to several more. There were many hospital doctors, nurses and caregivers who stopped by his room to tell him how much he meant to them and how he had changed lives of people on the third floor of Brandon Hospital.
His family and friends will miss him but his dedication to the Lord lives on through his family, friends and spiritual children.
Matthew 25:21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
Jesus, Our Rock
May 16, 2016The month of May is extremely busy. Graduations, celebrations and much activity. There is also the sting of sickness and loosing a loved one. In families there are joys and sorrows at the same time. Life seems like a roller coaster and emotions are high and low, but there is one thing that is consistent, the love of Jesus.
He is the rock that keeps us steady. He is the One who is with us in every situation.
1 Corinthians 10:4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.
Present with the Lord
May 15, 2016Today my spouse, best friend, amazing Christian, Tom Curtis went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus.
He was ready and willing to go after a long illness. He was a faithful witness and soul winner. The last day he was in the hospital he led a doctor and 2 nurses to the Lord. Many tears were shed that day as hospital doctors, nurses and staff stopped by to say goodbye to a man they learned to love and respect after his month long hospital stay. He was able to come home to leave the earth from his favorite place the sun porch where he was able to watch the birds and squirrels.
He will truly be missed by me, his family, friends and partners in SOS Events ministry. Please pray for those of us who feel the loss but rejoice that there is no more pain and suffering and that the ministry will continue to grow and flourish.
“We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.” 1 Corinthians 5:8
Four More
May 13, 2016Pray for the USA
May 12, 2016Pray for our Country. All the unrest and turmoil. A quote by one of our founding fathers, Thomas Jefferson.

2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Amazing Email
May 11, 2016Tom, let me give you a report. You helped us train and instruct our people working the Lucas County Fair. We used your methodology, sign ideas, for 20 years, I kept track of yearly results, we always had a minimum of 200 pray to receive Christ each week of the fair. Our best years, which outnumbered the lowest one were between 500-600 souls per year. More people have prayed for salvation in that 100 foot square space than any other spot in Lucas County history. My estimate is at least 7,000 souls prayed in all the years there. I believe we were on Holy Ground! You helped us lay the foundation. Thank you, you will get an exact count in Heaven.
Often we do not know the results of our labor for the Lord but this email came to Tom Curtis from Russ, a Pastor in Ohio.
Jeremiah 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
Frustration to Fruitfulness
May 10, 2016Frustration!! Tom waiting, waiting and waiting for discharge from the hospital. A special doctor had to be called and he was not there.
Previously Tom and Carolyn gave one of the nurses named Judy a copy of the booth they authored “101 Salvation Stories.” She was a special nurse who really cared for her patients. She stopped in to see Tom in the morning to tell him that she was halfway through the book already and intended to read the rest on her day off.
Time for a shift change in the evening and that doctor had still not come. Judy came into the room to say goodbye to Tom and Carolyn because she would not see them again after his discharge. She said, “I want to be one of your stories. Can you save me?”
We know it is Jesus who does the saving but Tom held her hand and prayed with her. She accepted Jesus and was so happy. What joy on the face of that young woman. “Now I am one of your stories,” she said.
She walked out of the room just as the doctor walked in. Miracles still happen and God’s timing is always right. We as Christian need to remember He has a plan and purpose and the Holy Spirit is never late.

Prayertime
May 9, 2016Happy Mothers Day
May 8, 2016May God bless all the Mothers who read this blog. God gave us a special high calling in life when he gave us children. Every Mother is a teacher, nurse, helper, example and many more things to her children. It is a great responsibility but also one of the greatest blessings a woman can have.
Our children reflect who we are. So Moms be the best you can be for them. The only way that we can be what our children need is through Jesus Christ. Follow Him and get instruction from the Bible that has much to say about rearing children. Then when they are adults thy will know they are blessed to have a Godly Mother.
Proverbs 31:28 Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.
