The Greatest Love

February 12, 2021

Valentines Day is Sunday. Let us focus on what the Bible says about love.

First and most important is that God loves us and sent His son Jesus to die for our sin. God wants us to love Him and live with Him forever.

Bring God Back!

February 11, 2021

The United States of America was founded on the Word of God. The founding fathers gave us freedom OF religion, NOT freedom FROM religion.

Christians, we must pray that our country turns back to God.

Many other nations also need to honor God the Creator. Our whole world is in trouble.

The first step if you are not a Christian is to put your faith in the Lord Jesus. He blesses individuals as well as nations. That is a good place to start.

Do You Know Him?

His name is Jesus.

God Blessed SOS Events Volunteers

February 9, 2021

A picture is worth a thousand words the old saying says. In these 3 photos are SOS Events volunteers at events.

The top two are from the Quilt Show in Dade City, Fl last Saturday, where 4 people invited Jesus to be their Savior.

The bottom picture is from last Wednesday Plant City Flea Market when 8 souls were saved.

God truly blesses the SOS Events volunteers with many decisions for Jesus.

Romans 10:15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

Have Blessed Week

February 8, 2021

What a wonderful blessing from God’s Word. What more could anyone ask. To prosper in whatever we do and to have good health to be able to do it.

May God bless everyone who reads this.

Your Pastor Needs Prayer, Today

February 7, 2021

Today is Sunday and your Pastor needs prayer. The Enemy does not want him filled with the Spirit and preaching God’s Word. He will face battles today as he gets ready to feed us. The best way to honor your Pastor is to pray for him and encourage him with kind words. Pray for power in his message, for souls to be saved and backslidden Christians to get right with God.

Also, a tip from a dear Pastor’s wife, please do not catch him before church with problems, troubles or criticism. He needs to be free from conflicting thoughts so the Holy Spirit can work through him.

Jeremiah 3:15 And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.

The Comforter

February 6, 2021

We have someone to comfort us in times of difficulty and in times of happiness.

God sent the Holy Spirit to dwell in us and be with us always, when we accept Jesus as our Savior.

What wonderful good news. In any situation He is with us. We are never alone.

The SOS Events Motto?

February 4, 2021

“Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds.”
While the US Postal Service has no official motto, the popular belief that it does is a tribute to America’s postal workers.

The volunteers SOS Events should adopt this motto. For the last two weeks the temperature early in the morning on Wednesday in Florida has been in the low 30s.

To those of you who live in colder climates this might not seem cold, but to Floridians, working and almost freezing weather and wind under a canopy for four hours is very uncomfortable.

The SOS Events team, refused to stay in and not go to the Plant city Flea Market in spite of the very cold weather. God blessed them. Yesterday, eight people trusted Jesus as their Savior.

Thank you, Lord for your blessings. And thank you faithful SOS Events volunteers for not letting the weather stop you from witnessing to the lost.

God’s Creation

February 3, 2021

In the beginning God created the Heaven and the earth and everything in it.

God speaks to us through His creation. A sunrise or sunset, the sky at night, a beautiful flower or the birth of a newborn baby.

Even the unbeliever can look at what God created and see His handy work. Then knowledge begins to dawn on him that there is God. That is the first step toward salvation.
