Everywhere we go the signs are still up. Stay 6 feet away from each other. In an elevator there was images of 4 sets of feet and a sign only 4 people in the elevator at a time. Are you social distancing?
The restrictions are being lifted in many places and there is different opinions on if these restrictions should be kept in place.
The one place that encourages us to get close is in God’s Word when He tells us to draw close to Him. No restrictions. Just call on Jesus and remember He is close to you at all times, if you have trusted Him as your Savior.
Psalms 73:28 – But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works.
God blessed SOS Events volunteers on Saturday with 16 salvations.
This event is a food distribution once a month at Turkey Creek Baptist Church in Florida.
This month the volunteers were Alice, Richard, Stephanie and William. It is a great blessing to each of them for the opportunity to witness to people who come to get food and walk away with the Bread of Life, Jesus.
And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. John 6:35
Ed and Rhonda Fager have an antique car that they want to use to honor the Lord. After a long time getting it ready, they were able to take it to the first of many Car Shows in Ohio.
As you can see from the photos, GOD blessed them abundantly with 16 people who trusted Jesus as their Savior.
Pray that this couple has more opportunity to share the gospel at many more events this summer and autumn.
1 Corinthians 3:7 So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.
Technology. It is amazing. We can be in one part of the world and communicate with people or control devices from thousands of miles away.
Technology can be used for evil like spreading pornography or it can be used for good, publishing Gods Word throughout the world.
As individuals we have abilities that are similar to technology. We can use our lives, living in sin or we can choose to accept Jesus as our Savior and live a good and fruitful life.
Romans 12:21 – Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
The SOS Events office and homes of many volunteers are in the path of the storm named Elsa.
Storms can be dangerous. Fallen trees, floods, wind, rain and tornadoes are results of this storm.
What do we do during a storm? Get prepared. Have food and water on hand and listen to instructions. Then trust God to bring us through unharmed.
Storms in your life, you need preparation to survive.
In times of your storm, be prepared. Get ready by reading God’s Word everyday, praying for guidance and resting in God’s promises. He will give you peace and bring you through the storm.
There is an insurance company in town that always has a interesting saying written on their sign. This one caught my eye because it reminded me of the Christian life.
God never promised that when we get saved our life will be easy. In fact the devil will attack a Christian and try to make him or her ineffective for the Lord. God did promise that He will go through our trials and testing. It is our responsibility to keep on serving Him no matter what the circumstances.
If you seem to be at a place where nothing is working in your Christian life, give it one more try. The biggest thing to remember is don’t quit. Some of the greatest inventors, statesmen, preachers and musicians failed many times befor they became successful at the goal they were trying to reach.
Philippians 2:16 Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain
