Jesus promises us peace. Trust Him.
Do you need to be encouraged today? Looking for something to lift your spirits?
Search You Tube for some old hymns. Listen and sing along.
“The Old Rugged Cross”. “Victory In Jesus”. “Great Is Thy Faithfulness” “How Great Thou Art” “When We All Get To Heaven”. There are many more hymns and spiritual songs that are being forgotten.
The Bible tells us to sing unto the Lord. It is hard to be discouraged when we are singing, especially those songs that have meaning and honor the name of Jesus.

Do you find it hard to love some people? Maybe it is a fellow worker, a disagreeable neighbor, someone in your family, a person of another race or religion.
It is a natural reaction to not love someone who has hurt you, but that is the problem. It is a “natural” reaction. The Bible tells us in Ephesians as Christians to put off the old man which is corrupt and put on the new man, which is holy.
How then do we overcome the lack of love in our lives? Start to pray for that person if it is an individual. Ask God to change your heart if it is a group of people.
We cannot be an obedient Christian or have God’s blessings if we have hate in our heart.

Sometimes we feel overwhelmed with our life. Maybe it is our job, family relationships, illness or circumstances beyond our control.
We want someone to take all our troubles and burdens away.
Good News! We have a friend who is there to help us. He promises to go with us through any trial or circumstance. He will never leave us or forsake us. His name is Jesus.

Twelve days into the New Year and you are ready to give up on your resolutions. Already missed the goal. Don’t give up.
Start again. read your Bible everyday, determined to exercise, going to eat right, be a better communicator? Did you miss a day, 2?
Start again. Never loose sight of your goal. Get into God’s Word. Ask the Lord to help you. He wants you to be successful in whatever you do.
Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

Because there will be days when things happen that our minds can’t grasp and when the pain of a situation is beyond our ability to endure it. It’s in those times that our understanding of who God is and how much He loves us helps us rest and place our faith in Him.
Hebrews 11:1 – Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Two events were held on Saturday, January 8th, the first events of 2022 for SOS Events.
The photos are of the event at Pioneer Village in Dade City, Florida, where GOD sent 3 people into the SOS Events booth to hear the gospel and accept Jesus as their Savior.
The second event was the monthly Food Distribution at Turkey Creek Baptist Church. Six people received Jesus as their Savior.
God is so good to allow SOS Events to be in many events where people hear about the love of Jesus and trust Him to take them to Heaven.
Romans 10:9 – That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

SOS Events are blessed with many volunteers who work at various events throughout the USA.
In this New Year many more volunteers are needed to go to events. SOS Events provides training to teach people how to present the gospel using the “3 Things God Can Not Do”.
Please pray that God will direct fellow Christians to get out of their comfort zone and join a team to lead people to the Lord in this simple plan of salvation.
Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest. Matthew 9:38
