Carolyn Curtis recently took a trip to Peru with her daughter. When traveling to various parts of the world where everything is new and different is exciting, a little overwhelming and wonderful all at the same time. Peru has many different areas where climate, culture and customs vary, just as in the USA. It makes us realize how Great God is. His creation is beautiful. In Peru there is desert, mountains, jungle and seaports. All beautiful in the diversity of each area. So wherever you are, look around and see the beauty in God’s Creation.
Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
When we have a bad day how do we handle it? We can react in two ways. Get angry and have a temper tantrum and rage or stay calm and quiet. Situations can be frustrating but as Christians we must not be part of the problem with a bad attitude. If temper and bad disposition are one of our personally traits, let us ask the Lord to help us overcome our bad attitude starting today.
Colossians 3:8 But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.
Psalm 62:6 gives focus to the fact that we can be unshakable when we let God steady our life. When we are out of balance in just one area of life whether emotionally, mentally, physically or spiritually then we become wobbly like a four legged table with one short leg. Look to God for help in every aspect of life. We can be unshakable in Him.
He only is my rock and my salvation: He is my defence; I shall not be moved. In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. Trust in Him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before Him: God is a refuge for us. Psalm 62:6- 8 (KJV)
As we examine the activities of our day, we might entertain the thought of change. Being willing to let the Lord change us is an important part of our growth. Romans 12:1-2 says, “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” In these verses God tells us three things on how we can partner with Him for internal and external change. 1) Present your life, work, and ministry to Him. 2) Don’t follow the pattern of the world, as you might miss out on the radical changes He wants for you and 3) Renew your mind. This can be done by staying in the Scriptures and praying as you seek God’s wisdom for your life.
Identification is more than our picture, our name or our actions. Our identity goes deep into our being, our soul. Have you ever felt lost in who you are? Genesis 2:7 says, “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” That is where our identity started. As we discover God and learn who He is and how He loves us, we realize we have a choice to accept Him, trusting Him to be our Heavenly Father. It is then we can choose to have our identity in Christ for eternity. Matthew 16:26 says, “For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?”
If you question your identity being in Christ, please my friend, acknowledge and admit that you have sin in your life, believe that Jesus died for you, that He was buried and was raised from the dead. He is in Heaven giving you the opportunity to trust in Him. All you need to do is call upon His name. Romans 10:13, “For whosoever(you) shall call upon the name of the Lord, shall be saved.”
John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
You can be 100% where your identity is. Mine is IN CHRIST.

Mark 8:34 And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
Easter is a little over a week away and many are getting ready. The stores are full of candy, clothes and decorations for the Easter celebrations but very little if any have anything pointing to the true meaning of Easter. The death, burial and resurrection of The Lord and Savior, Jesus. As we prepare for time with family and friends for Easter, let us remember the true reason why we celebrate. Jesus resurrection is proof that there is life after death and we can be sure of eternal life if we accept Jesus as our Savior.
2 Timothy 1:10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:
The USA is in trouble within. Far too often there is news about a school being attacked, usually by a student. Children are killed or injured. Police officers are in constant danger, and some are shot doing their duty. Unrest—murders, robbery and every kind of sinful activity is reported everyday. It is discouraging to see the news on TV, social media or radio. When will it all end? The Bible says there is hope for our Nation. Christian it is up to us. We need to put God first, humble ourselves before Him. He will heal our land. If we don’t things will only get worse.
2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
