SOS Events Ministry is careful not to express political views, however, as Christians no matter how we vote, we have a responsibility to pray for our leaders of our Country. We are to respect those who are in authority and be thankful that we have a President who honors God. So today, if you agree or disagree with President Trump, pray for him and the other men and women in office.
I Timothy 1&2 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

Your Pastor has many responsibilities. He usually is a husband, father, maybe a grandfather and he also has his church family to oversee and Shepard. He needs to be filled with the Holy Spirit so that he can fulfill all his responsibilities. On Sunday morning especially you can help your Pastor by praying for him and by not going to him before service with problems or questions (unless it is an emergency). Show your Pastor and his family love and respect, God has called him to serve you.
Hebrews 13:7 Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.

Attitude!! Do you look at situations in your life and rejoice? Your glass is half full. Or do you look and say “Oh, no. My glass is half empty.” If you have a positive look you see blessings of a glass half full. Negativity or a half empty glass outlook has no place in a Christian’s life. The Bible tells us to rejoice! Our attitude affect those around us. Example: ” You look great today.” Or “You look tired today.” How does that affect the person you are talking to? It may mean the difference in that person’s day. Let us be careful to be an encourager not a discourager.
Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
How can we have faith in God when our world seems to be falling apart? Disappointment, illness, accidents and many things happen in our lives to make our faith waver.
Faith is knowing that God is in control. Trusting Him even when we cannot understand why things are going so wrong. God does not promise Christians a trouble free life, what He does promise is that He is with us every step of the way. He will and He does work things out for our good.
You may ask me how I know. Today, I can Praise the Lord for taking me through the death of 2 sons, a grandchild and 2 Godly husbands and other trials and heartaches. God has never left me or forsaken me but always brings what I need when I need it. He uses those things in my life to bring encouragement to others. That is what faith in God does for me and He will do the same for you if you have faith in Him. The evidence of things unseen. Carolyn Curtis

In our Christian lives, we go through trials. It may be physical, financial, or spiritual. God does not promise a pain-free life to the Christian. He does promise that He will go through every trial with us. He tells us that the rain falls on the just and the unjust. He can use the problems we face to help others. We do not understand and sometimes even question his purpose. But God does want to use us to help others in the same type of situation. We have a choice, we can get better or bitter. Which do you choose?
Matthew 5:45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

What if, just for one hour, one day, one week Jesus took your place in your schedule and walked in your shoes? What if you were not given notice in order to make adjustments for a more perfect schedule? What if Jesus went to the places you go to and spoke to the people you acquaint yourself with using the language you use? What if Jesus greeted your family in the same tone you greet them after coming home from a days work?
What if?
I hope He would be pleased with who you are and you would not be bothered by letting Him trade places with you.
We know this would never happen because Jesus cannot sin. However, What if Jesus walked in our path with His heart? Would people see a difference?
Ephesians 4:23-24 King James Version (KJV)
23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
