Events

January 9, 2021

Today, SOS Events has 2 places that will have teams of volunteers to witness to people in Florida.

This photo was taken last month at a food distribution at a local church in Plant City. SOS Events volunteers will be at this event again today.

At the same time more volunteers will be in Dade City at an all day event. Please pray for souls to be saved. Pray for SOS Events workers that they have wisdom and power of the Holy Spirit.

Events are few because of COVID-19 but God still gives opportunities to tell others about Jesus.

Ephesians 6:19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,

A Sad Day

January 7, 2021

Yesterday was a sad day for Americans. When the US Capital building is invaded by protesters, every citizen in our country should be sad.

There is one thing every Christian should do today. Pray and ask God for the healing of America.

Pray for President Trump and President-elect Biden. Both of these men need our prayers. They need wisdom and guidance. Pray that they seek answers from God.

Pray that there be peace in America.

A True Saying.

“Seven days without prayer makes one weak“

A sign on a church that is so true. Start everyday with prayer and Bible reading to have a strong Christian faith.

1 Thessalonians 5:17
Pray without ceasing.

Recipe For A Good Day

January 2, 2021

The second day of a new year. Every day is an opportunity to draw closer to Jesus.

It is a good time to start daily communication with God with Bible reading and prayer. Take time for God to speak to you as you meditate on what you have read.

The best time is when you first get up. Your day will go better if it is started with Jesus.

Plant City, FL Flea Market

November 16, 2020

Events have been fewer this season, due to cancellations of many events throughout our Nation. However, the Plant City Flea Market has continued to stay open.

God has richly blessed with salvations every week. SOS Events volunteers have been faithful. There has been only one or two weeks missed because of inclement weather.

Souls are saved every week. Please pray for the team every Wednesday.

Praise the Lord for His faithfulness.

Lamentations 3:23 – They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

Church

November 15, 2020

We are so blessed to be able to go to church to worship in the USA, now because of the coronavirus, some of our freedom has been taken away.

Many other Countries do not have the privilege we have. Today is the Lord’s Day. If you are not hindered by illness, it is important that we go to our house of worship.

Our churches must stay open. Please pray and go if you are able.

Answered Prayer

October 31, 2020

God answers prayer. At the Fall Festival at Tabernacle Christian School in Bradenton, Fl, God blessed the SOS Events Team with 6 salvation decisions.

Even before the booth was completely set up, 3 boys came over to see the “3 Things God Can Not Do”.

They had a chore to do so they promised to come back.

Carolyn stepped away from the booth and that is when the trio came back. However, they did not want to talk to anyone but her, so, they waited.

They came back to the soul winning table with Carolyn and trusted Jesus as their Savior.

They all said they attended Tabernacle Christian School. When the Principal stopped by a little later, he was given the decision cards for the 3 boys.

The Principal said, “This one is my grandson, we prayed for him this morning. God answered prayer the very day He was asked!

Alice, Glenn and Dena were faithful to witness at the event and God blessed again with 3 more teens who accepted Jesus. They were not from the Christian School, but lived in the neighborhood.

I John 5:14&15 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

Pray for your Pastor

October 25, 2020

Your Pastor needs to protect you by preaching God’s Word but he may be under attack himself. Our Pastors need prayer.

Ephesians 4:11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
