Traveling in Alaska yesterday, Carolyn Curtis and Alice Thomas had the privilege of seeing an eagle fly over the mountains. The majestic beauty of this bird is a reminder of the promises of God in the Bible. Also, that we as Christians should not be weary in our witnessing and work for the Lord.
One woman and her husband accepted the Lord as their Savior. Before they left the booth, she told the soul winner that when she walked into the building she knew something good was going to happen, she could feel it. Then she gave the soul winner a hug.
The Holy Spirit will prepare a person’s heart to accept Him but if the soul winner isn’t prepared or willing to share then that person will either not accept the Lord that day or the Lord will find someone else that can share the good news with them.
Why not let that person be you, the one that shares?
2 Timothy 4:2 (KJV) says, Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.
Easter is a week away and the question today is, Where is your focus? When we go shopping do we see symbols of Jesus resurrection or a huge display of Easter baskets, chocolates and jelly beans? Unfortunately, it is hard to find anything that honors the true meaning of the Easter, Jesus is alive!!
Celebrating with fun, food and family is great and there is nothing wrong with that, as long as our focus is on Jesus. Let’s be sure our children and grandchildren know and understand that Jesus died, was buried and three days later HE AROSE!!
Matthew 28:6 He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.

Genesis 1:1
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
When asked what happened at an event, sometimes a SOS Events volunteer will say, “We planted seed today.” What do they mean? No one received Jesus as their Savior that day.
Disappointed? Yes, but we have to remember that seeds that are planted grow. We do not know what that tract or our testimony will do in the heart of an unbeliever. The Word of God is the seed and it will not return void. Some plant, some water but God gives the increase, in His timing. So do not be discouraged, if the person does not accept the Lord right then, keep planting seeds and let them grow.
1 Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
If you rearrange the letters of DEPRESSION, you can spell the phrase “I PRESSED ON!”
No matter what you are going through today, don’t give up. Keep the Faith. Trust the Lord. God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life!
