God is blessing the SOS Events Team in Indiana at the James Dean Rod Run Car Show. Yesterday, Friday, 51 people invited Jesus to be their Savior.
Please pray with us for the volunteers who came to witness for the Lord. Ed and Rhonda drove 2 antique cars from Ohio to be at this.event. Alice, Carolyn and Stephanie flew in from Florida and God blessed.
Today and tomorrow gives more opportunity for people to be saved. Pray for many more to be saved before this event is over.
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13
Teenagers Excitement!

So much time is spent on complaining about the youth of today. On Sunday a great group of teens came to a SOS Events Training and they got excited about telling others about Jesus.
These teens did a wonderful job learning and practicing the 3 Things God Can Not Do. They already are planning to go to a Trunk or Treat at another church in October.
If only we as adults could get as excited about witnessing as these young people did. Please pray with us for more volunteers of all ages to join with SOS Events.

Come and See!

John 1:39 KJV
The Bible verse is in John. Jesus is talking to two of his disciples. They ask Him a question and He answered with the words, “Come and see.”
When SOS Events volunteers go to an event, they are taught to use the same words Jesus used, Come and see.

Training is important. It gives volunteers confidence to go to witness at events.

SOS Events Ministry busiest months are now here. Fall festivals, churchyard events, yard sales and many venues coming up.
You can be part of winning people to Jesus in several ways. Let us know about events taking place in your area, volunteer to work in a booth for 3 or 4 hours, support SOS Events financially and most importantly pray for souls and volunteers.
May God give you a wonderful month of September.

Pray for Michigan

Today cofounder of SOS Events Ministry, Carolyn Curtis, will fly from Florida to Michigan to speak to a group of Christians about SOS Events.
Then will go to speak to a Pastor about the ministry. All this will take place tomorrow with the expectation of getting a new team of SOS Events volunteers in the state of Michigan.
Please pray that the people are receptive and will be excited to win souls with SOS Events. Also, for the health and safety as Carolyn travels.

Ohio Car Show
August 20, 2022We had 23 decisions for the Lord Friday night. This includes a man who just came from Morocco and a woman who came from North Africa.
We had two Hispanic young men who received salvation. One could not speak English so his friend served as his interpreter. It was an amazing evening. Praise God!!!

Limerick, Pennsylvania

The SOS Events Team in Pennsylvania went to the Limerick Community Day.
They had the privilege of leading 2 people to knowing Jesus as their Savior. Also, one person had the assurance of salvation.
Sometimes we look at the results from an event and are disappointed because more people did not come into the booth to hear the gospel. But it is not our responsibility to bring them in. We must remember that there is rejoicing in Heaven over one person that repents.
Was Limerick Community Days a success? Absolutely! Let us rejoice together and thank you Pennsylvania Team for your faithfulness.
I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance. Luke 15:7
Food Distribution

SOS Events Ministry has many opportunities to give the gospel at many different events.
Food Distributions are a great place to witness. Twice a month volunteers go to the Food Distribution in Plant City, Florida. On Saturday 18 people made decisions to accept Jesus as their Savior.
Talking to people about the Lord can take place anywhere, anytime and anyplace. Do you know how to tell others about Jesus? Fearful? Timid?
